Cubase Exporting Audio - Tutorial

My Cubase LE 12 does not export in Stereo in "Interleaved".
I Import a stereo instrumental and record my tracks then export. The Recorded tracks and the Instrumental have no Stereo anymore once exported "Interleaved". That means the stereo sounds of the Instrumental, when instruments are panning, that does not exist anymore once exported.
I export in stereo or mono, i tried various things, it always does the same. It takes mixes it into a Mono-Stereo file (wav). I split the instrumental in two tracks, left and right and imported two separate tracks, once exported in stereo "interleaved" it does the same thing. It makes no sense panning vocals or a instrumental track. I use Cubase since Cubase SX... in Cubase SX it works fine. Whats the problem here?

Very nicely done! I just upgraded from Elements 12 to Pro 12 mainly because of the export options (a lot of other good upgrades too). Thanks for a very clear walkthrough. Easy to follow and implement immediately.
