im still pretty sad an amazing ninja anime changed into aliens and cyborgs. Narutos whole training and becoming the fastest being on earth was like crushed and meaningless for a few otsotsuki kids. Power scaling died during boruto although the whole kaguya ark was also too mutch in my eyes. Marada should have been the last enemy trying to get the tree but failing, without any otsotsuki shit. Most fans i know prefer the hand to hand fights anyway and just finish it with taijutsu... This could have been a totally new story witch i think would have been better. Naruto was runed by going too far...

For the himawari thing could it be that she has no malicious intent for Damon so he would have trouble fighting her? Incorrect understanding of the umbilical cord situation. That was Sarada and Sakura's cord however Suigetsu thought it belonged to Karin. I read somewhere that it's a japanese customm to give the umbilical cord to the godmother of the a child.

I have to be honest, I was put off by Boruto because I thought it was a lazy and uninspired cashgrab, that had readers only by riding on the previous success of Naruto.
It didn't help that the entire community is so against it and bashes it on the head every chance it gets.
I was working out and watched this entire video, and I'm so grateful I did.
Now I am sure it's a lazy and uninspired cashgrab, that only appeals to edgy and mostly young readers, by ruining most of what made Naruto good, and focusing on the worst part of the original manga.
Absolutely hate the timeskip as well, they used it as an excuse to dress every male character like the edgy teens that read the manga, after a trip to hot topic, and needlessly sexualized every female character (Which are minors as well XD) dressing them like strippers.
