So glad I don’t have to work on that stuff anymore. The grease and gunk was always on me and my clothes no matter how careful I was. You are right about any loos connections if they are not perfect they will be burnt off in a very short time. Also can’t use standard off the shelf crimp connectors. Stainless steel connectors and high temp wire are a must. Good trouble shooting 👍

Lets scrape all that corrosive grease out of there! Time for them to alter their cleaning methods.
