I’m only seeing Nissan rogue has body airbag for rear passenger. No matter how strong the side frame is, this body airbag will protect the rear passanger more, for sure.

I would like to add an observation, todays pickup trucks frequently ride much higher than want we see in these tests. We frequently see bumpers of these big pickups ride as high as 30 inches or more. This results in those bumpers hiting compact SUVs on the top of the doors. And with cars its even directly in the windows… not a chance to survive such a crash. We see giant semis with much lower bumpers then these big pickups. When will goverments pass laws again this nonsense.

I’d like to know how they make these determinations. Many if the marginal rated vehicles looked less violent than several of the acceptable vehicles.

Just goes to show you the certain quality in some of these cars.. Chevy, Ford, and Buick had minimal to no cracking or interior pieces being launched around the cabin. And ofcourse Audi and Mazda held up amazingly

Wouldn't the front of an actual vehicle be a lot softer than the hard fronted ram vehicle your using? I drive a tow truck and have seen lots of accidents. Usually the vehicle hitting the other vehicle in a "T" bone type accident is also damaged.
