The Xbox Game Pass Price Increase is Pathetic

Buying games that are more expensive than those found on Steam doesn't appeal to me, monthly and yearly subscriptions suck beyond measure, I'm sticking to Steam. 10% market share? Microsoft are lucky that 10% of gamers don't care about price.

I have a pc and I would play that exclusively onyl for the fact I like chilling at the TV and playing after working all day sitting at a computer. I'll just buy games on disc now as I don't play much anymore it's a few single player games in the winter these days unfortunately

At this point. My sole fuction for my Series X now is to buy old physical games for hella cheap. And then play the enhanced versions of them through backwards compatibility

I'am pretty sure, they are trying to make as much money as possible before PS6 releases, because they know very well that they completely failed to appeal their player base with their rubbish exclusives and they have no chance of retaining this player base once the next gen console releases. So somehow making up for any future losses. Also, increasing price doesn't make any sense because it will only deter more customers instead of appealing them.

They charged me last month when I was trying to redeem my points. I couldn’t get a refund so I put my free month in. No more game pass for me. I played everything on there at least 2 years ago except HellBlade

Its a good subscription at current price. Anymore and Ill definitely cancel. Its good if you have kids that don't know what they want to play day to day. My kid likes the legos 2k drive and youth games alot which makes it worth it for me but only because its affordability now. Otherwise Ill just purchase the games because there not to expensive anyway. Definitely less and less appealing moving forward. I play Dayz and that about it so I personally dont get much value out of it

My Xbox Game Pass signs me in, Alerts me to sign up for Game Pass. I click on it, thinking i need to pay the new Update. Than in checkout it alerts me stopping the transaction stating "You already have this" 🙂🙃... okay, so after i go back an it stops me again saying i need GamePass. Again, And again. Its Shoving gamepass in my face, after i already bought it, just to reject me any access. Fuuuk Microsoft

I haven’t renewed mine either because I’ve played most games on GamePass and come to a conclusion based on my experience of building up my GS over 4 years GamePass is not worth the price increase at all. £15 a month might not be a problem for many people but since money is tight these days I rather spend that extra £15 i save and put it towards bills.

I honestly thought that gamepass was allready a bad deal because there will be times when you can't game or lose interest but your still paying.

For that amount of money you could buy a used series s and just buy a game your going to play alot. Then just play some free to play games without spending any money if you are strong enough.
