How do you become confident. I can walk anywhere like I own the place but that is just a act. I am not a warm person and hate insincerity. When i see videos that have hacks to tell you what to do to get X when the action needed to be taken is not a authentic way I would act I am put off.

You can't fake charisma.
You can't fake caring about someone.
You can't fake a compliment, and no, you won't be liked if you fake giving a compliment.
You either have it, or you don't, and watching this video will hopefully put some people on the right track, but it will take years of experience and self-understanding for anyone to realistically change. The things you are saying are so obvious, I think maybe someone under 18 might find some value in this video, but otherwise this is all just common sense.

I’ll be honest, most people are not very interesting. I’m very mechanically inclined and I like to surround myself with like minded folks. In 2024 there aren’t very many people with these interests and that’s unfortunate. That said I’m very social and have read Dale Carnegie among other quintessential relationship books throughout my life. And at this point I no longer give a shit 😂

Yes I have no charisma. Yes I've tried and tried and tried to become more confident/charismatic/warm/likeable over many years - trying too hard, not trying hard enough, trying not to care what other people think, trying to be positive, trying to put on a brave face, but after all that effort with very little to show for it, I'm depressed, lost in life and completely exhausted. Thanks for rubbing it in.

I would add #4 Smile! It just radiates so much confidence and Warmth if you smile a lot. And also look into people's eyes. So often I have heard people say that I'm sort of shining. That comes from smiling (especially smile with your eyes) and making eye contact. And #5 Seek to understand before being understood.

This topic is a bit of an open door. Of course charisma is better to have than no charisma.

"if nobody likes you nobody will listen to you" that is probably the biggest motivator for peoples to improve their charisma games, everyone wants to talk about themselves and all their life problems but if noone like you it will be like talking to a brick wall. You wont feel heard or emotionally validated therefor it dosent give you the dopamine hit you would normally get if you are someone that inspire peoples, that others looks up to, that set trends for other peoples (dosent have to be viral could be just your close circle), that others listen to. I think this video needs to be watched by alot of peoples these days, I know some peoples instead think it is cool to be tough and unlikeable and to gather as many enemies as possible, but who will listen?

My father for me is the most charismatic person I know. Wherever he would go, people would listen to him and he would quickly create a bond with them. I never saw anyone who didn't like talking to my father. I hope i could be like that one day.
