The sound is crazy and all but man I couldn't help but see it's nostrils as it's eyes when I first looked at it and it just looks so over it

They are magnificent. I can across a 3 year old on my MTB ride yesterday. Second time in a month I’ve encountered one. I just hung out about 8 feet away, watched it and shot some short videos and pictures. It went into a defensive posture like this one. If I stayed still the rattle would slow down and stop but the second I moved it sped up again. They look so bad-ass when they are in that posture, just pure muscle.

Ive done a lot of hiking through california and ive heard them on many occasions. The only time that rattle truly scared me was when I was close enough to step on one because neither of us were aware of the other's presence.

I have heard this sound near my backyard which is full of huge long green bushes grasses...i'm confused whether it's the sound of any insect or snake then I refer to this video and now I'm confirmed that it's none and other than RATTLE SNAKE sound.
