pattern must be random. when laid like this it will expand more in one direction than others. it weakens the structure. manufacturer will not honor warranty because it wasnt laid properly.

this installation is so wrong. you are never supposed to install wood floor in a step-pattern and never have the joints to close to each other as he is doing... clearly his boss don't know what's he's doing.

Just look at the picture you posted. Even when the room is finished that pattern will jump out at you. A floor like this should be randomly laid, so it doesn' jump out at your eyes. Whats this says is, you got it done as quick as possible. Next time randomly stagger your pattern, then compare the results.

😮😮 I fit flooring for a living. What a great worker. But I wouldn't fit according to his pattern layout. Definitely not. Aesthetically it's not pleasing to see the short end joints so close and laddered. Structurally it's very weak. These planks look 12mm thick so I'd have wider expansion gaps at the walls.

Rule 1 do not install elements smaller than 30 cm. Rule 2 the offset of the next row of boards joints should also be at least 30 cm. What you have done is a very unstable joint.I recommend learning more about laying floors because you are acting against the rules of floor manufacturers and their recommendations on how to lay them.

This is the ABSOLUTE worst flooring jon I have ever seen! I have been a general contractor since 1978, and if I walked into a job like that, the first thing I would do before I fired the installer would be take a shovel and shovel that crap right out the door.
