Warframe - Trib Goes to WOAR (The New War SUPERCUT)

Ello again lads

Like I promised; New War vidyeot before Christmas. Though I did have to rush it a bit and cut out a 'Closing Thoughts' segment at the end. Prob for the best, because that was gonna be an extra +10 minutes to the video lmao.

So instead, I'll give you the abridged version of my thoughts on the quest here.

If I had to describe the quest in one sentence, it'd be: "Fantastic set-pieces and music, but kinda wonky on pacing". Something that hit me with immediate whiplash was it's odd pace and omission of certain key details. For instance, there was absolutely no coverage on how the 3 way alliance between the Grineer Corpus and Tenno, came to be.

It felt like the first initial push occured without us and we were just kinda dropped into it later. Almost like walking into a movie theater 30 minutes late.

It's also pretty obvious that Kahl and Veso were both just red herrings. Despite all the promotion they had, they were designed to be nothing more than a misdirection so that the real twists of the quest would hit harder. But it's kinda disappointing because despite how little screen time they got, they both atleast had mini character arcs written for them.

Which is why it felt so damn odd that both of them were just.. Swept under the rug and never mentioned again after their segments were over. I do understand that their fates were left undetermined and I wouldn't be surprised if they showed up in future questlines. But in the New War, it felt like they were mistreated if I'm being honest.

Also- why did absolutely no one even bat an eyelid to Teshin's death at the literal hand of Erra? Like- WE were never given the chance to learn more about him outside of him being a servant to the Worm Queens but uh... Shouldn't the characters IN-STORY react a little bit more to someone as central as Teshin being offed? Felt almost like they wrote that scene in last minute.

We also didn't get a clear idea of how long it had been after the war was lost; I can only guess like... Maybe a year? But yeah I wish that was clarified on a bit more.

But as for the positives? The set-pieces, character designs, and music were all on *point*. I'd go into more here, but this was ment to be an abridged version of my thoughts so, let's just leave it there yeah?

After playing duviri and then rewatching this duviri was basically the basckstory of the drifter until we meet them in the new war the difter also mentions duviri in the new war quest these two quests were such bangers cause they went deeper into the tenno lore

I just realized our man in the wall is helping us instead of making us suffer he might be on our side or it might have a agenda or the man in the wall is different for every teno and ours is good a few examples giving us void powers. guiding us to the sentient killing sword. and not torturing us. so he has been helping us this whole time it's possible he is good and doesn't have evil intentions?

I understand none of the context but I'm here to be the obligatory Warframe complainer - this is cool, but needing to put World-class WoW Raid Party Leader hours into a game before even reaching half the really good story is as hilarious as it is cruel.

In summary: Warframe is like Baroque art at the end of a comically long hallway at the top of a 70-story building. It's a banger, but you'll be forever plagued by the question of whether it was actually worth your time, or if that's just the sunk cost fallacy talking.

Fun fact:(ik im 9 months late but better then never) Trib’s multiverses theory of the drifter operator was correct,the drifter is from a timeline where your kiddo was never rescued from the zariman and survived for years or eons on the derelict ship,which is honestly really cool tbh the fact trib got it right astonished me (and yes i did research on it)
