Razer Naga vs Logitech G600 - MMO Gaming Mice Comparison and Review

Here in January 2024, the tables have turned and the G600 is ~$25 more than the Naga.

I'm on my 3rd G600, they are king hands down. Naga and Corsair are missing features and the third click button next to the right click.

my Razer Naga chroma is failing random button pushes, had it since 2018 its 2023 now looking at that Logitech

Ive tried for years to move on to better mice. But i always come back to the g600. That third primary click and the scroll wheel tilt click are must haves for me after using it. My only issue is after about a year it gets somewhat random double click problem on the left click and the optical sensor occasionally goes all wacky. But smashing it down on the desk once usually fixes that.

Would love an updated version of this lol

The biggest selling point for the g600 for me is that I play on ps5.
Most mmo mice don’t work on ps5 and modifier keys almost universally don’t work on mouse buttons.
But the G600 g-shift function does apparently. Giving you 24 keys on the mouse thanks to the on board memory profile.
Mine will be arriving tomorrow to confirm this.
The day Logitech makes a wireless version of the g600 that is compatible with consoles is the day Logitech wins the mouse war.

Lollllllllll razer naga pro user here(on my 2nd razer naga) thinking about swapping to a G600 PRECISELY BECAUSE this is also my 2nd razer naga that's developed issues...

i will add that ive had mouse calibration issues with the synapse software, esp with liftoff distance. the mouse hasnt completely failed but the scoll click has stopped working which makes resetting the calibration impossible.

I know nothing about MMO but for 3D software like Blender G600 is absolutely brilliant. You can customise all buttons and set every shortcut e.g. Shift + Ctrl + Num 0 to pan camera for render view.

read a review for the Razer Naga of needing a constant internet Connection for it to wok properly don't know what they meant by needing a constant internet connection if one don't have internet would like to know how does it not perform properly?

I find MMO mice to be on the heavy side after using the Viper Ultimate for awhile. I've tried going back to the G600 but I can't stand how heavy it feels. I've moved to using the two side buttons and the middle mouse button as Shift, Cntrl modifiers for my normal action bar hotkeys.

Logitech FTW

Logitech gaming software (GHUB) that you need for your hardware's gaming features DOES NOT work on Apple Mac with m1 chips. Beware!

Ever since I got into pc gaming in 2015, I've been using Logitech. Their keyboards, mice, headsets, webcams, etc.
Not one piece of equipment has ever failed me. Ever.

Made the mistake of trying out a Razer keyboard once and wanted to return it. In all of my time doing online shopping, I've never had a worse customer service than with Razer.
I ended up selling it as it was easier than returning it.

So yeah, when it comes to Logitech vs Razer it's an easy decision.

Naga is good when it works. 3 Nagas in and all 3 double click or clicker stops working

I don't want to sound disruptive, but you have no clue about what DPI is and what does it do.

my g600 is great and I've never had an issue with the software personally. The one problem with my g600 is that the second layer of binds(3rd mouse button gswitch I think its called?) I'll have a side button bind just quit working. this causes my keyboard bind for that key to stop working also which is not a good problem to have. I have to unplug the mouse and plug it back in. I've seriously considered a new mouse because this problem is becoming a real pain but I've been using the 600 since it first released I'm so used to it I just wish this problem could be fixed..

My G600 just had 3 buttons on the side go out, it was given to me by a friend who used it for almost 2 years. I'll be buying another for the fact it has the g-shift click. I have all 24 side buttons in use for EFT and the Naga can't do that and the Corsair version doesn't have the tilt scroll wheel. So another G600 it is, thank you!

I had a razer naga for two years until I broke it (my fault not the mouse) then switched over to the cheaper g600 and it felt pretty much the same to me. I think the buttons are less reliable on the g600 fwiw, some of them are becoming less responsive on mine.

Very good review. I have had both and yes the Razer did stop working for me too but so did the Logitech so...take that as you will...but I always buy the warranty from Best Buy that lasts 2 years and their policy is really good...no questions asked...bring the old one back and get a brand new one on the spot if they start to malfunction. I also feel that the Logitech is better for the 12 side buttons because they are easily recognizable with your thumb...it's easier to distinguish them individually while the Razer buttons are not....another big difference is that the Razer now comes wireless and the Logitech doesn't.

Using my razer naga epic still,after 9 years later. Insane mouse. Its absolutely perfect.

not sure if someone is still going to watch this today but one tip....the logitech has a button on the right side of the mouse where your ring finger sits and its FUCKING ANNOYING!

Pity the G6 doesn't' have a free scroll wheel

Great breakdown. I have had my G600 for over 5 years at this point and have never had a problem. I had two Naga's over a period of about two years, and that's why I decided to try the G600. I would buy another G600 in a heartbeat when this one eventually dies (nothing lasts forever).

It's 2022 and I still use my Naga 2009! :D No problems whatsoever!

This review is still very relevant in 2022. It also happened to be the video I watched that sold me on the G600. I’m not an mmo gamer but played LoL as my main game up until recently. I am not rough on my my keyboard or mouse. Around 2020 the logitech software was really bad for me. My colour profile never displayed properly, along with my dpi settings being completely different from what I set them as. I sent multiple feedback reports to logitech and heard nothing back. They made significant improvements to the software since. But it was incredibly frustrating to have to unplug and replug my mouse until it displayed the proper colour and dpi settings.

As for the third mouse click or gshift. I never used it, personally it seemed way too clunky and poorly explained. So not only did I not understand it’s use, you also can’t remap it! I was able to a couple of times but it never functioned reliably (I tried having it my toggle mute and push to talk). The software for binding keys was also very unintuitive. Every time I had to go to the software it was frustrating.

I have large hands and this mouse is extremely comfortable. Utilizing all the buttons only took me a couple weeks. My tip would be try your best to use the first six, and overtime add more keys.

Logitech software is meh

DO NOT buy the razer naga if you use a laptop. The magnet on the side of the mouse might affect your pc whenever your mouse touches it. (My lenovo legion 5 goes into sleep mode whenever i accidently bump the mouse into it)

I sold my g600 as i learned how to bind the keyboard properly in Wow. I tried to use the mouse but Its like learning how to use the keyboard for the first time in your life again.. and Its way too clumsy compared to a g303/g203. I did accidentally click the ring finger Button at Times and Side buttons when lifting the mouse too. For work related it should probably be considered though. The wow cataclysm mouse is the best MMORPG mouse i've ever used. Just enough extra buttons without an extra keyboard on the mouse!

Amazon currently has the g600 on sale for 34.99, I picked one up because I'm on my second Razer and the quality is just awful for the price tag.

Used a Naga 2014 for 7 years approx. Just switched to the g600 because it seems like the Razer Naga has had a bit of a price hike on all it's variations, at some point. I will say that I had to adjust the dpi on the g600 out of the box, and I personally find the Naga to be way more comfortable, but the g600 isn't uncomfortable, I'd say. The ring finger button is nice, but I haven't used it much yet. Will say that the actual mouse 1 and 2 buttons seem like they have a lighter weighting than the Razer Naga, I find myself accidentally right clicking a fair bit. We'll see how it goes, but I might switch back for a wireless naga after the g600 eventually fails on me, given that logitech seems to have given up on this form factor in favor of the g502 and it's variants.

I've used 2 razer naga within the span of 2 years the right mouse click always broke, switched to the g600 I've had it for 2 years now no issues at all 😊

Great review, you nailed it! I have both l mice and experienced the exact same issues. After 1 year Razer warrantied the left click switch. Now 10 years+ later the right switch needs to be replaced. So I will do that for my wife as she uses it.

While I waited for the RMA I purchased a G600 and it still works good 10 years+ later. And yes the Logitech software can be a pain in the ass. Props to Razer for the software but that's about it.

Is the button grid on the Logitech bigger than the razer naga because I have a hard time clicking a certain ones with the naga because they are pretty small

Avoid G600 and get the Naha X! The G600 is really heavy, thumb buttons need to much force to push and lifting the mouse makes the pointer move A LOT.

I feel like i am running out of air just listening to sicko! proof again! stick to the stoves and no voting for woman or what ever you are!

Don't like the "scroll-click-left/right" when i wanna middle-mouse-click it tends to go left or right insted (on the 2 naga's i have) still love the mouse, I just dont have anything bound to middle-mouse-click anymore

I love the G600 but mine broke after 6 months of use, I've had problems with my G703 also which i've had to RMA 2 times and gave up when the third one broke too. Crossing my fingers my GPRO superlite doesn't follow suit. I'll try a Naga as an MMO mouse replacement and give Razer a chance. Logitech let me down 1 too many time.

Hell man, she could give the micro machines guy a run for his money.
