My go to drink in a good cocktail bar and I’ve never had a problem making it. You can always say no or that you don’t offer it but if you do then you shouldn’t whine about it or get annoyed when someone orders it.

I've only had this drink when I've made it for myself. Every bartender at every bar at which I've ordered the drink has refused to make it, even when it wasn't busy, even when I was half of the only party at a reservation-only speakeasy. Despite my amateur status, it's still one of the best cocktails I've ever had.

Is there a reason people top and tail lemons and limes never seen the point

a friends bar removes Complicated Cocktails from the Menu. They have screen above the bar Displaying the drinks and the bartenders can give the order to 86 certain drinks when it gets too busy :P

Bartenders are mad because they can't add big ice in the glass.

I like using a hand frother for anything with egg white and it makes it much quicker and easier with a great foam.

The one time I went to a bar and intended to drink these, I pre-emptively told the barkeep about it and pre-tipped him $20 as a "bartender's good disposition fee" and then still a normal tip at the end, and he seemed happy enough to make 5 of them over a couple hours
