I don't think underrated was the right term to use. Practically every title you mentioned was in high circulation at every convention we ever went to, whether they were fan subs or imported laser discs, we all knew about these and love them.

Weird to list AD Police and not go further into the wider Bubblegum Crisis franchise with its various shows.

Hi guys, there was an anime i used to watch as a kid, i dont know the name. It was a city cyber punk anime from the 80s or 90s that had this scene in the anime where the lead characters hair turned blonde (NOT Dragonball ballz)... and he kinda had paint on his face...but white paint. He also had a tiger that he walked around with....does anyone remember that cyber punk anime ?

My dad brought me up on Akira tank police bubblegum crisis the guyver, urotsukidoji Macross plus etc . All the old school stuff im 33 and I still believe the old school anime was better espically Akira
