So I installed....... Redhat Enterprise Linux 9?

Going for RHCSA soon. Installed bare metal to daily drive as well as setup a virtual machine in vmware. Going forward, how do you think RHEL will fare in the enterprise world with recent events? Do you think companies will abandon ship for ubuntu/debian/OpenSUSE?

I am looking for a work daily driver. I am currently running PopOS and I am having issues with using multiple monitors and Nvidia Drivers. My manager is telling me to just go Debian. What are your thoughts on RHEL 9 for a work environment. I am thinking of pulling a laptop off the shelf just for a trial. Cant really distro hop my work machine.

I always hopped distros and got tired, always been curious of daily driving redhat, I use it at work in all the servers but never tried using it... I knew it was expensive but there is a developer licence... So far it's been great!

What about the telemetry on red hat?

I remember Red Hat Linux was around in the late 90s/early 2000s but I never had the chance to use it. Didn't realise a version of it was still around, but I guess it's more for corporate users than home users

Use Fedora not Redhat.
