I never played Pokemon as a kid because I just didn't know the difference and it confused me
ОтветитьYo Kai watch!!!!
ОтветитьWith the pokemon games I used to js buy whatever legendary pokemon looked cooler
Ответитьwow
Ответить“It’s just Sonic Boom!”
“AND GENGHIS KHAN WAS JUST A F**KING GUY!”
I can’t wait to find an opportunity to use that last line! 🤣🤣
Ah yes, I remember picking up "Nintendogs: Roach" back in the day...
ОтветитьPokemon having dual releases is a good thing, it keeps the community tight by having them trade with each other
ОтветитьCant wait for nintendogs dogs and nintendogs cats.
ОтветитьI think there were 3 separate PPG games on Gameboy Color where you play as a different Powerpuff Girl.
ОтветитьHa
ОтветитьTIL Mystery Dungeon is a cross generation dual release holy fuck
ОтветитьThis is the closest we'll get to a yo-kai watch episode
Ответить"um excuse me?" when he broke the DS
ОтветитьI recently discovered this channel and I think scott is really funny but the way he shills for Nintendo is so ridiculous it borders in propaganda. Ubisoft had the best, less greedy implementation of a dual release with AC rogue & Unity. Two full experiences each in their own console generations, full games with one being a direct sequel and that's weird and pointless. But nintendo launching the exact same game with a couple changes knowing at least 50% of the fan base will get both is good. What the actual fuck
ОтветитьI picked pokémon red because fuck the crips bloods on top
ОтветитьIt’s the fact that this is the closest we will ever get to Scott talking about Pokémon
ОтветитьMax > Bomberman
ОтветитьTransformers Autobots and Transformers Decepticons on the DS was the dual release that I was too young to realize was a dual release
Ответить2 simultaneous volumes of Atari Flashback was so egregious. They're classic ATARI games. There's enough storage in my WATCH to hold every Atari game ever made, and you have to split a "best of" collection into two PS4 games?! c'mooooon....
ОтветитьI remember there were some digimon duel releases. Digimon dusk & digimon dawn
ОтветитьThe Megaman Battle Network games did a better job than anything else on releasing more than one version. In one game you'll have a couple different chips from link navis than the other but you'll also have different link navi abilities, for instance in Cybeast Gregar you have Gregar's abilities and heat cross (which is fire abilities) whereas in Falzar you have Falzar's abilities and aqua cross. It's a condensed explanation but it's more than most Pokémon games where one has a Pokémon the other doesn't and the Megaman versions can significantly change strategies. It is the same story though, so yeah.

ОтветитьThe hardest choices are always made in a target
ОтветитьA dual release that neither Scott nor anyone in the comments is mentioning is, in my opinion, the best way iterations of the dual release; the Transformers DS games. They would make an Autobot and Decepticon release and you'd of course play as your respective side and each had their own separate stories and of course, cast of characters. The original Transformers(2007) games had the same open game world but your character had a separate list of alt-modes and ways to interact with the world and of course the story was different. In the Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon releases they weren't open-world but their stories were more fleshed out and the story was more varied between both releases. And then the War For Cybertron releases had different stories like RotF and DotM but also had a separate challenge mode and although they were a little mirrored there was still a good amount of variety. But after completing one side's challenge modes you could play the other sides and unlock their respective characters. However those modes did have a character who was exclusive to each with the Autobot version letting you play as Shockwave and the Decepticon version letting you play as Grimlock iIrc. While these dual releases did suffer from some of the criticisms in this video, I think they are the best dual releases out there.
ОтветитьAside from Pokemon, some of my favorite "dual release" games were the Transformers games on the DS.
I remember playing the multiplayer with my friend and my cousin's brother. (My friend had Autobots, while my cousin's brother had Decepticons. I had both. This was for the first game.)
As for tbe "Revenge of the Fallen" game, same thing. (Only difference is I had both versions, while both my friend and my cousin's brother had Autobots.)
I was only one of the 3 of us to own the "Dark of the Moon" and "War for Cybertron" games. So, I had to rely on one of them to play the multiplayer.
If I had to rate them, it would be:
1. War for Cybertron
2. Revenge of the Fallen
3. Transformers (2007)
4. Dark of the Moon
(Dark of the moon being my least favorite game makes sense, considering it is my least favorite movie in the series.)
I miss when Pokemon would release a 3rd version of the game that was better than the other 2 that made me as a kid have to have the new better version. Pokemon yellow, crystal, emerald, platinum
ОтветитьOne thing you have to add is that Gamefreak has "improved" trading between versions, with eggs you can farm starters (you had to trade from new files in the first gen)and later they basically killed the exclusivity between versions by adding online trade, obviously they have deviously kept the multiversion releases to increase profits.
ОтветитьI know this is a bit too late but anyone remember if the gb had a dual megaman x games? I kanda remember something like that
ОтветитьI laughed so hard at the nyquil and dayquil bit. 😂
ОтветитьScott should have 10 million subs
ОтветитьWas that a roach?…
ОтветитьFun Fact: The other two Austin Powers games were meant to be themed after Fat Bastard (Also played by Mike Myers,) and Felicity Shagwell (They were made to coincide with the second movie, The Spy Who Shagged Me.)
Ultimately, it’s obvious why the other two were cancelled, but I enjoyed them for what they were as a kid, especially because my dad and I loved Austin Powers. I still do. Those cartridges, underwhelming and empty as they were, are still rather nostalgic to me.
Fanbase: What inspired you to think of a second version that’s just like the first version each generation?
Gamefreak with a Mr. Krabs like voice: Money!
YESSS 👑
ОтветитьNO >:(
Ответитьyes?
ОтветитьNO!
ОтветитьThe fact he owns every version of pokemon and still hasnt tried the series 😭
Ответить"Why did you pick dad?!"
OOF xD
Watch your tone with pugs
Ответить"It's just sonic boom?"
"AND GENGHIS KHAN WAS JUST A FUCKING GUY"
Fun fact: Pokemon Red and Blue's release is what started the feuding gangs Bloods and Cripps.
