Credit where credit is due: the billionaire is a disgrace to humanity, your sister is an artist, and you have a vlog that always brightens up my day :-)
ОтветитьHope you ate a good avocado toast lol
ОтветитьGreat video and explanation; your sister’s art is great! 👍
Ответить"Pan Am Railroad, it's the slowest motherf*king railroad in the system, Here we got an Approach Medium. Now Im wondering, I guess normal speed on the Pan Am is about... 6 MPH, This must mean slow down to 3 MPH at the next interlocking. I've never seen a f*king operating like this in my f*king life!" -Rodney Kantorski
ОтветитьFascinating! I had never heard of Pan Am Railways. Would never have guessed they were located in New England.
Your sister's artwork in terrific!
As of now pan am southern still exists
ОтветитьBiggest Ironys of the 20th Century? lol
ОтветитьI found it ironic that Pan Am had a railroad and a building with their name(now the MetLife Building) that seats nearby Grand Central Terminal. The most hated building here NY.
I highly recommend reading The Power Broker by Robert Caro. The book explains why Robert Moses is a hated figured in here NY.
This is a really great video dude, really informative and I learned a lot, thank you for making this!
ОтветитьThe company did revive Pan Am Airlines for a while, flying between Pease New Hampshire and Sanford Florida.
ОтветитьNot only do I remember Pan Am but flew on Pan Am many times.
ОтветитьYou are right on target.
ОтветитьYes, you should avoid politics, especially when you have a one-sided, indoctrinated view, exactly as you accuse the billionaire of having.
I appreciate the avocado toast bit though, at least you're self aware.
Your sis' art is has a fun home brew look and is a refreshing break from stock or internet photos.
Thanks for explaining Guilford Rail, I saw the engine going from Nashua to Wilton NH and that is some roooough track(CSX is going to be pissed when they inspect it). I knew of PanAm Railway, drove by their yard in Concord, but not that surprised CSX snapped them up. Also thanks for the heads up about Montreal, always wanted to go, but driving through border checkpoints can be a pain. Thanks for a great vid.
ОтветитьYou won’t see Pan Am reporting marks on freight cars, they use MEC reporting marks. They stand for Maine Central.
Your sis is a great artist!
I saw a Pan Am railways locomotive today! so they still run to this day
ОтветитьGuilford couldn't keep the D&H because Mellon wanted Guilford to be non-union and they weren't having it
ОтветитьI was going to write something here about despicable billionaires and great artists and you, but Emile Poelman (below) beat me to it. So allow me to second his thoughts!
ОтветитьGreat artwork. Thank you
Ответитьi am going on my first my train Journey to california next year i can’t wait
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьLove getting a notification when you upload
ОтветитьGreat video! Very informative! Thank you!!!
ОтветитьThank you for the pictures 😊
ОтветитьVery informative, again. Politics is fine when I agree with it: and you are absolutely right about that guy's attitude to poor people. The art work really enhanced the video.
👍
kinda odd you only found Pan Am Railroad & CSX just one locomotive to me I don't remember go go up back in the day I only remember gas go up when Broack Oboma & Joe Biden in Washington.
ОтветитьSo where did the name: "Guilford" come from..?... I might have expected: "Mellon", under the circumstances...
Pete C., from NH
Now you're talking about my neighborhood railroad! Those trains go past my house all the time, along with the Downeaster and the purple trains. Which is another reason why the absence of the north-south rail link frustrates me--it'd be nice if the Amtrak service here wasn't just a disconnected branch that goes no further south than Boston. Or if you could at least get to South Station by commuter rail.
ОтветитьWhen I clicked on the video, I thought of the OTHER pan am
