terrible flat omelette, maybe it was his early days...I'd suggest learning from Pepin instead for this
ОтветитьOil AND butter? Unnecessary calories!
ОтветитьI've only just seen this video and I'd just like to say thank you to Jamie as I made an omelette once and it was so terrible I gave up.. I've now just made the tastiest yumiest omelette ever so a big thank you Jamie.. Everyone else was more concerned about damaging the pan 😂.. I'm sure Jamie has plenty more.. And we can use whatever pan/utensils we like.. The video is about how to cook an omlette! I'm going to be making many many more now.
😋 😋 Thank you again!!
Did he just say “If it’s too hard, cook it less.”? 🤣
ОтветитьI followed all these steps thankfully did it right first time. I had cheese & ham
ОтветитьClearly NOT a 7" pan...
Ответитьthis procedure is NOT recommended by J Pepin!
ОтветитьAll this drama for an egg. English people😂
ОтветитьWhack bstrd
ОтветитьEggs and cheese British style omelette, here is called scramble eggs, ours has onion, tomato and mushroom, now try that.
ОтветитьWhy is he wearing a pink shirt.😅🤣👚
ОтветитьMi padre igual de gordo como siempre 🙈🙈🙈🙈
ОтветитьSorry, I would think he would know not to use metal utensils on a non stick pan. Basic 101 cooking fact.
ОтветитьStupid limey.
ОтветитьMETAL fork and a METAL spatula on a non-stick pan. NO!! NO!! NO!! Omelette looked good though.
ОтветитьUndercooked and shite
ОтветитьThis guy is a dishwasher not a chef. Not the correct pan, spatula or ingredients
ОтветитьMade my first ever omelette with this video but added chilli powder and paprika with a dash of milk, I've never eaten an omelette my self but my gf said it was rly good so thanks 😁
Ответить"Non-stick pan - really essential for this"
Won't be non-stick for long 🍴
To avoid eggshells: crack on a flat surface.
ОтветитьSimple is good.
ОтветитьI thought the egg looked a little pale and perhaps rubbery on the outside and runny on the inside?
ОтветитьCheddar Cheese and Ketchup- thats too British for the french cuisine
Ответитьgoogle "ham omelette" and you will find hundreds of "perfect" and "best" omelettes
ОтветитьBack when all cooking shows were filmed on a ship in a storm so the camera can't hold the camera still.
Ответить"non stick pans for this are essential"
He says whilst using metal spatula on it 😂
That’s not a French omelette
Ответитьi like mine overcooked
ОтветитьI cringe every time I see these professional cooks using steel utensils on a nonstick pan.
ОтветитьWell I think I make a jolly good omelette...I use free range eggs with that slight tanginess, some really finely diced onions , heaps of green chili or red pepper, a tablespoon of full cream milk for each egg, salt and a tiny tiny pinch of turmeric. Ahh....Heaven at 8.30 am ❤❤❤ Erm....Forgot that finely chopped cilantro and shredded cheese in top.!!!!
Ответитьnever ever in 4o odd yrs of cooking omlettes do I touch it once it's in the pan.. mental some people scrambling it no need ,don't touch it .I make the omlettes then put the pan under the grill to cook the top. perfect evrytime.. I ALWAYS use milk
Ответить😢 why are you scratching the pan with the fork and spatula 😟
Ответитьyour video is out of focus
ОтветитьGreat video, but my wife would give me massive growlies for using metal instruments on the pan
ОтветитьThe reason for milk is to help fluff the eggs up. I use a hand blender to really get a fluffy omelet or scrambled eggs beat for thirty to sixty seconds....they will get very fluffy.....I never add cheese to the raw eggs in the pan....I'll flip the wife over once they are set, cook for a minute then flip back over...now you can add cheese and fold...ham...mushrooms, green onions in the mix...it's the best
ОтветитьCall me crazy but : a fork and metal spatula? I would prefer not to have any chemical flakes in my omelette .. he said it was non stick so …………
ОтветитьI use six eggs and a bigger pan. I think it's still considered an omelette? I have to let it cook on low-med low a lot longer. I push the sides down and swirl the uncooked eggs to fill it in. Add cheese then fold. Ends up being about 1" thick after folding.
Ответитьwhy would you use metal utensils?
ОтветитьAnd I use unsalted seasoning, like Mrs Dash, because I need to watch my salt intake! Love the show and Jamie Oliver!!! ❤❤❤
ОтветитьNever EVER crack an egg on the edge of a bowl, use a flat surface like a countertop.
ОтветитьLearn how to cook dude nothing great about that
ОтветитьUn sacré chef abientot
ОтветитьThanks Jamie, gonna try that today for lunch!
ОтветитьTo nie jest omlet to jest jajecznica z serem. No ale co kraj to omlet.
Ответить🤩👍✨🤤LECKER 😋👏😊💜PERFEKT
ОтветитьToo dry, you left in in the pan too long.
Ответить"Eggs are cheap" it's now 2023 and I miss those days!!!
ОтветитьI have no idea how anybody (if ever possible) can make an omelette without a nonstick pan or at least a big spatula.
With a nonstick pan and without a big spatula, i have made scrambled eggs or an omelette that barely looks like one.
Nanomachine, Son !!
