How to Set Up Custom Packaging with Printful: Print-on-Demand 2024

Why is it not possible that you print the logos on packages in the warehouse and offer a complete service ?

Ngl this sucks balls! The fact that you have to pay an extra fee and also storage prices which is like 25 dollars per month for packing is crazy to me. The prices for your products (shirts hoodies joggers) are already sky bloody high once you finish adding all your designs labels and stuff without tax so it’s really not affordable for people just starting their business. Kind of extortionate if you ask me. 🤦🏽‍♀️

its aslo for Dropshipper? if i do dropshipping i can use these Custom packaging?

Wait so Printful doesn’t automatically does the custom packaging for use and we have to go buy the items and send it in?

I sent in my custom packaging to be stored at Printful and none of my orders have been delivered with the branding package. I've bee trying to get in contact with someone to resolve this but it has been months and my clients have not been getting the packaging I sent in. Has this happened to anyone and does anyone know how to resolve this?

i would love to have custom packaging but after this video , i decide not for now. to complicated. i thought we can print on your white label poly bags. and the storage of 25 euros for 50 - 100 bags as a beginner is by far to expensive .

This adds lots of work (not to mention costs). Packaging options should be a service included in your platform.

Why don't you buy or partner with a company doing custom packaging?

do i have to get my products send in to a wearhouse? I mean i am not looking forward to pay 25$ every month so i was wondering if its possible to get pack in without it being sent to a wearhouse, sorry if it was write poorly

This makes me soo EXCITED!!!! Just wondering if you can add little extras like thank you card & stickers to go with your custom packaging & order? Also do you get a discount off normal shipping because your using your own packaging not Printful’s & paying for storage etc

I thought this said YOU offer custom packaging. Not WE have to source, buy, and ship it to you and get approval to use it.

Would love this but it's too much to consider. I think all the considerations will put most people off (myself inc) which ultimately is a lost sale for Printful. If I get my own packaging made then surely I would have to get several sizes for the different products - T Shirts, Hoodies etc etc. Why Printful can't provide the different packaging to begin with and we can upload our design/logo and we can pay for the service if we want it?

Are we able to send you stickers to throw in orders as well? Wish the customer order could be sent to me first that way I could custom pack add freebies and re-send to customer.

Do you guys offer a way to add thank you slips into packaging? I would love to see an option to add some sort of a thank you card into orders.

If a customer orders my product from outside the regions of the warehouses containing my custom packaging can the customer still get the custom packaging?, Because even tho the order is placed outside the region of the warehouses shouldn't it still be able to be shipped to the customer with the custom packaging

How does that work when you guys ship from different places

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but when you say 'can only be used on 'single-product orders only'...do you literally mean only if someone buys ONE product?! So if someone orders 2 tees and they fit inside the larger mailer, they won't be used?! That seems crazy to me, so hopefully I'm misinterpreting this?! Thanks!

The oceans are already full of plastic, we need to change now! Please offer eco friendly packaging (plastic bags that are recyclable aren't quite eco friendly sorry, it's just not the worst) and with these new changes, offer a list of suppliers of truly eco friendly packaging that you would accept to package the orders in.

Merp... not sure the logistical commitment is worth the trouble for dropshippers or PF. Ya'll should have devoted the resources used for this program to actually deliver what the dropshippers wanted - a simple process that would allow branded packaging directly from PF. Jumping through hoops aint my thang.

Please correct me if i had understanded wrong cause i am new to this, what i had understand is that we have to send our custom package to printful using warehouse service and whenever someone order the products, you guys will use custom package with order..? Right..?

Very cool! Will there be an in-between option coming out? Not quite sending in own packaging level, but not quite plain white level? It would even be great if we could just pick out the plain color of the packaging, like black rather than white. Or blue. or pink. Or brown paper rather than plastic. Love this! An in-between option would be phenomenal next step if you consider it!

How about non plastic packaging? Got promises that such was working on already two years ago. Just text or call it green packaging is not the same as real non plastic packages.

If I would ad the text "non plastic" like you suggest. I could be send to court for green washing.

Why isn't printful offering this packaging service as a print on demand option? You guys are a print on demand company this should be a straight forward service to offer to the sellers
