eh... not jumpin' outta my seat for these... I feel like far too many of our exotics are tied to supers and I really hope they take similar passes on them to Balidorse and Apotheosis Veil here and maybe give us some reasons to leave them on not hot swap to them for a super and then swap back. I feel that way about all three classes but warlocks have a very high amount of exotics tied to burst supers especially which feels bad to wear something that only procs after you blow your load on a super once every 5-10 mins or so. like Geomags could boost amplified effect in some way idk or give us bonus intellect while amplified to get that super back faster with like it used to but with a bit more hoops. Stuff like that would be great as there are SO many exotics I just never pull out anymore cause I don't rely on my super to get shit done I like neutral game warlock synergies and there are options but many are very similar to each other per subclass.

With Apotheosis i managed to do 8.5 million damage to the final boss of Warlord’s Ruin on Solar Warlock, its really strong

the main problem Ballidorse has right now is it breaks the healing rift to not heal you.

Apotheosis Veil will be a good combo with Dragon’s Breath with all those ignitions 😮‍💨😮‍💨

Titan with precious scars is pretty nice also giving your teammates restoration on final blows is a life saver lol

Restoration x2 = immortal unless you're soloing a dungeon.....

I feel like Apotheosis is gonna be a good exotic for Void builds..popping a nova then just constant Magnetic, Scatter, or Void Grenades…add a rocket with Demo and it could potentially become a Fun DPS move. Throw in some melees for Flair 😂

You cant beat the strength of sunbracers build and it's so strong as you can stay highly mobile. I also have my single target Starfire build which is still very strong and feels great with witherh and apex P I combine that with retraced path in energy slot

Karnstein lost their visual effect though, literally unusable

I cannot stress enough that Felwinters is a really strong exotic, even before the buff it got, when you spec into a melee build instead of a pure finisher one. Like solar snap melee with heat rises. The ignition on the snap kills redbars even in GMs and on tankier targets it creates an explosion that can kill other ads that then weaken those tankier enemies when dead. It is so good. And even when going for a finisher build, you are basically garanteed to get away after a finisher, since everything will be unable to shoot you, except bosses, which will then be weakened by 30%, so still easier to take care of. Give solar Felwinters a try, it is so much fun

As someone whose had Karnstein's glued to their hands much of the last 3 seasons I never really thought much about stacking it with restoration, but I rarely run solar unless it's with Sunbracers so that's probably why. The more or less on demand heal & health regen that doesn't stop on taking damage was enough by itself to be a nice addition to arc and strand since they lack intrinsic healing and I've spent too long crutching devour for my own good, stasis it's still pretty good even though rime is an option, and void has devour which covers most needs so I mostly ran other exotics with it. It is maybe worth noting that restoration 1 is ever so slightly stronger than vampire's embrace or whatever the name of Karnstein's buff was by around 2-3 hp per second, making it marginally stronger by itself in addition to having solar subclass synergy now, but the real nerf is the loss of it's animation; While it didn't seem to show up with the ornament, getting a melee kill with Karnstein's would make glowing claws appear on your fingertips for the duration of the health regen effect, but because it's been changed to cure & restoration it just uses the animations for those and the exotic's unique animation effect seems to be lost.

The fact that you think Warlock’s JUST became PVE meta is hilarious — they’ve been meta since D1 where you could self-res/save the fireteam from a raid wipe and Well Locks have been a must since Day 1 of D2.

It's just me but - I find the additions to warlock extremely lacking. Especially in comparison to Titan. I never felt as OP in terms of survivability and damage as I do on my syntho strand titan since Lightfall. Wyrmgods is really good now too. I don't think chaining eg. finishers on felwinters is a particularly engaging playstyle. We're essentially still rocking the same old exotics for most subclasses (osmios or mantle of battle harmony for stasis, contraverse, sunbracers, phoenix, necros) and weavewalker or threadling buff hasn't brought anything exciting to strand either. And let's not even talk about stasis, it simply can't be more stale to play that subclass and shards still aren't intrinsic.

I might be crazy for saying this but I SORT OF miss starfire. In a way it was nice having just a single exotic that was busted at everything. The problem with warlock is they have too many insanely good exotics which makes it really hard to just pick one to use now that starfire is gone. But I know for the health of the game thats a good thing.
Titans have the opposite issue. They had like 2 S tier exotics and a bunch of garbage. Now we have like 1 S tier exotic and less garbage but a bunch of meh stuff.

So let me remind you... THE NEW WARLOCK SOLAR SUPER in Final Shape will do what Apotheosis Veil does by default... So slapping on Apotheosis Veil on top of the super is gonna be nuts.

Balidorse pulse damage increase is also really affective if you run multiple warlocks, preferably with stacies cause they freeze enemies for you periodically so you don't have to use your super energy to do the frostbolt volley during your super. This allows you to strictly benefit from the massive shatter damage without wasting time on freezing, essentially let your team have 100% uptime.

As for Felwinter's, remember you can also run invis finisher to make it less of a detriment to you. This, on top of a disorienting grenade grenade launcher like Truth Teller or repulsor brace Harsh Language makes you virtually unkillable on top of all your devour. It's a perfect cycle of death.

I'm so so so glad I used one of my precious vault slots for a high roll Apotheosis Veil.

Karnsteins has always been my main build since it began to work on glaive melees. One thing I noticed right away is that activating restoration doesn't show the claws anymore which was made the visuals of it so unique. Also, the restoration timer seems to go down faster and I'm rushing to get kills which was not a problem before the rework.

Also, there is still no overall glaive tracker for emblems since the weapon was introduced in WQ HAHAHA

A season about Ahamkara eggs and Riven and they did not improved SKULL OF DIRE AHAMKARA???? come on Bungie!!! :( the helmet has been useless since D1 Vanilla!!!!!!!
