11 Mistakes EVERY GoPro Beginner Makes

Biggest mistake is buying a gopro. Holding down the shutter button for Timewarp 'feature' is so dumb. When will gopro listen?

Except for maybe the point about videos getting compressed to the phone, I don't think this video delivers on its premise. It's just mistakes anyone with a(n action) camera makes. Sorting files, editing, planning shots? That's so non-specific!

Helmet mounts are definitely superior for skiing, you just need to get the position and angle right. Also the max lens mod is great for skiing as well

You say "shoot for the edit" but my mindset is to shoot so that as little editing as possible is done. Mostly with stills, though.

This is the first time i am going to use action camera (gopro11) , so far i was using only dslr for photos, so it will be very helpful because indeed action cameras is for other purposes . However i would like to have your opinion about the storage. I was thinking to buy 2 pieces of 256gb sandisk extreme or... extreme pro. I was posting my question everywhere and clearly nobody has an answer to my question, not even the self proclaimed 'GoPro experts'. They have no idea what I'm talking about. I was hoping you can give me the correct answer to my simple question? Now, let's just be honest about it ... we all know the GoPro media mod is a worthless add-on simply because those microphones are terrible. So, as a serious videographer, I need to use my own external microphone.

My question is this: Can I use a USB-C splitter on the Hero 11 so I can simultaneously connect the Volta (for longer shooting times) and an external microphone like the Rode Wireless Go2 or the DJI Mic? Will it work? If yes, what USB-C splitter do you recommend?
