Very first thing I learned in my life coaching course was never use the word "Why".. The client might feel judged / attacked for the way they think or lived their life thus far... Example "Why do you think that?" vs, "What makes you think that?"...

I’m not a life coach but these are awesome questions to ask myself, especially timely on this 1st day of the year.
