How to screen record fl studio with asio (Free and Paid)

bro I am having so much trouble just screen recording my screen. Everything on my MAC runs smoothly for the most part but as soon as I open up any screen recorder (QuickTime, DU recorder, etc.) my CPU goes insane and FL starts glitching WHILE I'm recording! I'ts so frustrating!!!!

I have an Elgato capture card but still prefer OBS over the Elgato software because of performance impact and setting customization.

I managed to get the fl studio sound to come through to OBS after a few attempts. I get that bit of latency your talking about. But that latency is supposed to effect the actual music being played to right? Or were you just referring to audio from our microphone?

Hey Mr. Different you have a great tutorial I had everything set up and working perfectly before but now for some reason it’s only reading my mic as stereo track so I’m only getting my voice on one side of the headphones when I record. How do I change this back to a normal mono signal? Does anyone know?

Can you help me with the Last part? Am using pro tools 12 am stuck in the part. I would use an audio track in pro tools but what happens then is i get some latency and somehow 2 copies of my voice the one with the effects and the one without!! Any help would be appreciated

Obs is just not working for me no matter what. I’ve changed my settings and so far I can get my audio input from my interface but I can’t get the screen to show up in OBS so it just records a black screen idk what I’m doing wrong. I have my monitor selected. It’s a laptop but I have hdmi plugged in should I unplug it and then try? I’m really trying to get started with this and I need help
