My pc doesnt have that dvd/cd rom drivers as well as the ATA channel so there's nothing to uninstall. I don't know what to do anymore. I need to make sure it's really not working so my return item will be accepted

I didn't have none of the other stuff pop up so there was nothing for me to uninstall which makes this tutorial pointless because that was the only step you have...... Only the standard SATA ahc1 controller pops up..... Yet still no DVD drive
