Remnant: From the Ashes | Best Way (SOLO) to Obtain 400 Glowing Fragment, Simulacrum in 1Hour

Go to adventure mode or campaign on Corsus, and get the pools dungeon called "Fetid Pools"
Clear the map, and find the amulet, but do NOT pick it up !!
Go to the second checkpoint near the doors and quit your game
Backup your saves files "world" and "character"
Start the game and pick up the amulet
Quit your game again
So copy back your backupped "world" save and overwrite the newer one (not the character save)
Start the game, and then the amulet will be there again and the other one is in your inventory
Turn it into a "Acid Cleaned Key" at the poison pool and open one door
Quit the game, backup the world save or both
Repeat the above process until all doors are opened if you like, but don’t pick up anything inside the doors yet
Copy back your backuped world save and ovewrite the newer one (not the character save)
Turn your amulet into "Acid Cleaned Key"
When all doors are open quit your game
In this video I just need glowing fragment, so I don't have open all the doors
Backup the world and character save
Reload and loot all the things you want, like the 25 glowing fragments
Sometimes there is a bug (if you quit the game too quickly), so for avoid, return to sector 13, and touch the crystal, then quit your game
Repeat this last step by reloading your backupped world save (not the character)
And in arount 1 hour you can have 400 glowing fragment !

To backup your save on PS4 : Go on "Settings", then "Application Saved Data Management", 2 possibilities :
1st, you have PSN+, then go to "Saved Data in System Storage" (without the icon of PSN+) , then "Upload to Online Storage", find "Remnant", select your file "Character" and "World", then "Upload" --> You're here : "Backup your saves files "world" and "character"", to do the reverse, go to "Saved Data in System Storage", but this time, with the PSN+ icon, then "Download to System Storage", find "Remnant", select your file "World", then "Upload" --> You're here : "So copy back your backupped "world" save and overwrite the newer one (not the character save)"

Still working today sept/2023 and I believe it will gonna work forever due to its save game structure. If they combine world and character in one save game file well we’re screwed but so far still works

Thanks! Trick still works, and @ohboiipedersen3010 's trick with the blink mod also works like a charm. Now i dont have to unnecessarily grind survival mode for 50/50 achievements so i can start remnant 2 OTL

Everytime that I reload the world save after opening the doors the doors are closed again. Wtf am I supposed to do here?

for anyone coming back to remnant with remnant 2 being announced
- find the amulet and turn it into a key > put on blink mod > place your back against the interact of the gate and walk back into the closed gate.. then blink forward while spamming interact (you know its correct when the blue marker on floor doesnt appear when holding down the blink mod.. and its teleporting you in place), it will open the gate without using a key > repeat till all rooms are open except last one > refresh blink mod at the stone whenever needed > use your 1 key on last door to get trait

- no save backups or logging out needed and can be done on every run you find fetid pools to open every gate and get all the rewards! enjoy

for PC PLAYERS just copy all the SAVE.bak , sav but DONT COPY the PROFILE .bak , onl , sav. The CHARACTER IS PROFILE.bak , onl , sav and the WORLD IS SAVE.bak , sav

what do i do if i'm on pc?

As of 10/7/2021 (7/10/21) It still works fine but video and comment section miss some details so imma write my method that works 100% and to answer most of the questions.

You clear the level and go to the checkpoint with the doors that i'll call it 2nd bonfire.
When you reach it, you sit at the 2nd bonfire, stand and quit the game, go upload at usb drive or Ps+ the world save file. You dont need to upload the char since you update him.
Once uploaded, open game and you're in the 2nd bonfire, you go and loot and equip the amulet, you go back at the 2nd bonfire, you sit, stand and quit the game.
Go replace the WORLD save file to the one uploaded so that the amulet gets back to its spawn point and you still have equipped yours.
Now that you did replace em, open game and go turn the one equipped to a key, turn back to 2nd bonfire and open the door leading to the fragments (the one that has stairs behind), then go and loot the amulet, equip it and instanlty go and turn it to a key, back to the 2nd bonfire to the door you opened, up the stairs and open the door with the 2nd key and loot your 25 Glowing Fragments.

So basically i found out that if you quit replace saves blah blah blah while you have changed the amulet to a key, the key is lost even if you dont do anything to the char saves, while the amulet wont ever get off of you, so you farm the amulet and not the keys.

i think the dev fixed this with the new patch, I tried it, after I open the 1st door, I redo and took the amulet, the 2nd amulet no longer changes it to that key when I dipped inside the fetid pool. Too bad i cant farm it this way now
