I cant see MCD going up for the longterm with the wage spikes and cost of raw materials like you said. A person that makes a good income doesnt usually choose food that doesnt taste worth it and others cantjustify the cost if they make under 45k a year.

My dividend journey began when I realized that two particular expenses in my budget were always going to go up and never go down. The two expenses were taxes and insurance. I realized that the dramatic rise in both will need some added income. So, I started buying shares paying dividends. I can now see that this will be the path I need to take to make sure those two expenses will not overtake my future income.

Absolutely love the McDonalds pick, they have introduced and started pushing out the $5 meal bundles, which will only help them I feel get more traffic flowing through! At current levels too, getting a solid yield with good growth and a great future of growth ahead of them.

Didn't realize HD was off it's highs. Was looking for for a new long term position to start. Plus their ex-dates coming up. Might be a good Fed rate cut play, ppl might remodel with lower rates.
