LG G1, C1 & A1 OLED Prices Announced: Does G1 Compete vs Sony A90J or A80J?

You turned-out to be wrong though Vincent, the G1 is basically a A80j. LG is better for gaming and sports, Sony is for movies/regular viewing.

I got the 77" A1 for 2200$ (20000Sek) at year end sale. Why haven't you reviewed A1 series. Except 60Hz and lower HDMI port spec i can't see any major difference vs c1 that is a lot more expensive?

At official prices the A1 might not make much sense but i managed to get a 48" A1 for €679 compare that with the C1 for €1490 and it is hard to justify spending twice as much for 120hz and VRR despite being very useful functions. I would never pay MSRP for the A1 though. Most places sell the A1 for €799 it seems they know it won't sell otherwise.

I'm not gonna say what company I work for but what would you choose between LG G1(65) $2058 or a80j (65) $1908?

Questions. I have a 2015 LG 65EF9500. It was outstanding in its day and due to my ignorance it still looks outstanding. However, I am wondering if it is time to upgrade to a 2020 or 2021 OLED. Three questions: 1. is there a significant difference that will be obvious if I upgrade. 2. Which choice will be best for sports motion, specifically football. 3. Which of the new offerings should I chose, if cost is a secondary concern.

I got a 65" LG C9 for $1,850 from Costco last May and it came with a 4-year warranty. 780 nits peak brightness is good enough for me.

All oled panels are currently made by LG. Every single one of them suffers from a grid pattern defect. This includes the 2020-2021 models. Do NOT buy any oled this year. You will regret it once you see it. Lg are refusing to acknowledge it and reviewers ignore it for their own benefit!

At the moment I would say G1 vs A90J.

Vincent are you actually in possession of this GX unit or are you basing your recent GX videos on borrowed footage? either way im waiting for your review and rating of this unit and then , hopefully ,a subsequent A90J review . come on dude get it out there !!!

A90J is suppose to have superior sound over the G1 so quiet curious abot that since im not a soundbar kind of guy

If I buy a C1 for a monitor to replace this CX will it still have the same flickering problem? Or did LG say they addressed the issue? I don't want to buy another LG for 120hz 4k gaming and have flickering.
