Your my favorite.
ОтветитьI don't understand a word you're saying but I won't stop 'til i do.
ОтветитьThat last bit was nice my guy needed that
Ответитьmy guy. great content, valuable and well explained. but pls buy a good mic :)
ОтветитьMaybe this is just me but lets use the Greatsword as an example. At 31 strength, 12 dex, and 45 arcane +25 blood infused it gets 663 AR and 159 Bleed. At 60 arcane it gets 684 with 166 Bleed. That is 21 Damage and 7 bleed. You would think that unique weapons like Eleonora's and Rivers of Blood might get more but you'd be wrong. They get even less. Going to 60 arcane is not worth it unless you plan on going above level 150
ОтветитьWhat would be the soft caps for frost affinity you get with the glimstone wetblade.
ОтветитьBrother In my journey I found you and as a first timer souls dude I appreciate it.
ОтветитьYou won my sub after this video, keep doing it!
ОтветитьThat ending broke my poise ngl
ОтветитьGreat explanations dude thanks!
ОтветитьBased bugcat enjoyer
ОтветитьI still dont get soft caps
ОтветитьHow is it possible that you have only 30k subs?
You deserve more then those fools who always put op in their thumbnail so they can get 5 more views.
One question tho, if you would have to rank all atributes based on how Important/effective it is to have them 99, what would your list look like?
finally this what i was looking for
ОтветитьIf the plural of goose is geese, then, logically, the plural of moose is meese.
Ответитьyes please only level vigor to 40.
I would love to pvp with you
:))))))))))))))
Hi Chrightt, what about strength soft cap with two-hand? is it 20/80 before apply two-hand bonus, or after?
ОтветитьDaaammmnnn... Getcheddar put all that 10 minutes of work into transposing someone else's work onto a JPG and you X'd it out like it was last on your hitlist, lol.
ОтветитьYour comments at the end of this video made me decide to just free play and use whatever weapons I found and to just have fun. I died horribly at the first boss and rage quit.
ОтветитьBut, what about bleed, poison and frost infusions?
Do bleed and poison just follow the same rules as occult while frost follows maigc?
Seems like you only covered the arcane status buildup softcap, but not the general damage softcaps for weapons infused like that.
Either way, that feels like a pretty big oversight in this otherwise amazing video <.<
Just found out about your videos recently and have been having a great time watching them. Thanks for your detailed analysis and words of wisdom :)
ОтветитьThank you! I still don’t fully get so for me I wanted / want to be able to be max level so I can try everything. So I’m now on NG++ and have farmed 100s of hrs of slathering poor Albenerics. I’m now lvl 691 and 96 on all and 97 on vigor and Mind. It’s been really interesting to experience the change from 80 on all to where I’m at. Your data is helpful to see what I felt. Thanks!
ОтветитьIt all depends on what you are trying to do. These numbers of yours are largely PvP focused.
If effectively all your enemies have 1986 HP, then you can optimize a build around killing them in a cirtain number of hits, a certain amount of poise, and taking a certain amount of hits from the current top 3 meta weapons.
But builds focused on PvE goals do be simpler and more complicated. 5 more strength can be 1-shotting the next enemy down the line.
I want to do a build where I have a staff, some big and heavy armor, and a dagger with a bloodhound step on it. Should I put magical affinity on the dagger or not?
ОтветитьVery nice and fresh video. 👍
You seem good with the Elden Ring numbers, could you help me with this:
How much Bleed do I want on a PvP weapon
(Level 80, 85/90, 125, 137, 150 respectively)
Dual Weilding
Singular Weilding
Multi Hit Style of Play via AoW
Obviously 83 Bleed is better than 45 Bleed, but at what points do those numbers become obsolete? I can think of a lot of variables that would mess with this:
Time left empty mid combat resulting in a drop of Status Build Up (ex. 45 Bleed, then followed up after dropping down to 20 with 2 attacks resulting in 110 Bleed vs 135 Bleed)
How many hits to bleed, basically insert everything mentioned about Vigor numbers in your video.
Etc.
I know that's a lot to ask (probably an entire video on its own, lol), but any bit of information would and will be greatly appreciated. Thank you 🙂
This is what i like about and why i love the Quality Build, because it is offering you incredibly much Versatility in Terms of Melee and long Range.
Technically you can even go on and get yourself Magic or Faith or Arcane points throughout several Playthroughs to be even more versatile.
....this would make it basically into an "All Build".
You also kind of can call it a "Mary Sue" then.
However:
It's the best Build in my Opinion, but it relies on Player-Skill for the Majority, which is making it also the toughest Build to master, in some way.
Anyways...
I usually only play through Mammoth-RPG's like this one Time, but discover Everything i can to get the Maximum out of the Experience.
Playing through those Games another Time however isn't very appealing to Me, because it casually takes 100+ plus hours to get the Full Experience, but can't really offer you anything new to make up for that at this point.
Like:
If you have single handedly beaten every Boss once, you will be able to do it twice.
You must be an Eve player, this is spreadsheet-on-line for Elden Ring :D
ОтветитьGreat video! I am sorry if i missed it but how do you get to the build compare excel sheet at around 8 mins?
ОтветитьWhat I got from this is that I shouldn't go for 80 because at that point it becomes a waste and I should try to invest on other stats that could complement better my build. Diminishing returns and all of that.
ОтветитьSo i Just Go lvl713 and im fine
ОтветитьDamn didn't expect that beautiful conclusion, accord accepted my dude <3
ОтветитьThis is brilliant, love you man.
ОтветитьAll these videos obsessed with "builds" just makes me not want to play the game.
ОтветитьFinally one that has a scientific approach to the stats. Beside the beauty of the details this teaches us all one thing. Learn to read graphs. It's a game but it's science.
ОтветитьInstructions unclear, got an English diploma instead
ОтветитьSo for fire and lightning infusion you softcap at 50 str and dex respectively? This would make them best for hybrid builds im guessing
ОтветитьOther things to consider as well for hp and fp.
Beyond a certain point even if you get high returns compared to usual it doesnt necessarily mean it is more effective just because it seems more efficient.
For example say you have 5 fp flasks that recover 200fp and your fp bar is 140. Currently you can use a maximum of 140fpx6=840fp.
Increasing this fp bar to 200 max the maximum increase to 200fpx6=1200fp. So an increase in 60 fp produced maximum increase lf 360fp.
However, once you go beyond the 200 that the flasks recover you start to lose in effective fp even if you are earning more than previously.
For example say it cost you 6 levels to increase fp from 140 to 200. That is an increase of 60 effective fp per level and on avergae each level gave you 10fp.
Say after that every level gives you 20fp (double the returns as previously). And say you put 4 levels into that increasing your fp bar to 280fp. The max fp you can use is 280+200x5 recovered from flasks for a total of 1280fp.
Previously, increasing fp by just 60 at a rate of 10fp per level was tremendously more important than the 20fp per level that gave you an increase of 80fp.
It is important to look into effecriveness and not just efficiency when making a build.
This is most noticeable in fp and hp but could be the case for other examples. Such as needing a certain amount of stamina to pull off a certain combo. Once you reach the necessary stamina for that then going beyond that is probably not too important because you are very likely to disengage to recover all your stamina before re-engaging anw.
This is where talismans or consumable buffs come into play and affect things. For example say you are in a pvp scenario and your opponents combo costs less than yours in stamina. He will eventually reach a point where he can attack you but you cant attack him because he has enough stamina to land his combo but you dont and you are not as threatning compared to him. Here equipping a talisman that increases stamina recovery becomes a game changer becomes you may be recovering the stamina you use at a similar rate as him.
However, from the opposite end if i use less stamina than the opponent, then increasing my stamina regen is not too important because by the time he attempts his combo i have recovered enough stamina to respond with mine.
Other things to consider are bleed for example. Because bleed resistance increases after each bleed proc, there may be a point where increasing the bleed aux is not beneficial, say the enemy dies in 12 hits and you are proccing bleed at the 3rd and 7th hit. Increasing bleed to the next softcap maybe even to max level may not be beneficial if for example the maximum you can increase it will cause the enemy to bleed at the 12th hit because he was dying at 12 hits anw.
This is also a good way of comparing weapons, broadsword is shorter than longsword but deals roughly 10% more dmg. If that 10% extra dmg does not result in killing an enemy faster than it is useless. If both longsword and broadsword kill the enemy with 6 hits then what is the point of broadsword having more dmg? Surely it may come in handy in a few scenarios but for the most part it is not very important.
Thats why AR is meaningless and it is important to see the weapon's overall performance. The extra length of longsword will allow you to engage a lot of enemies sooner than a broadsword so if that is something you find important you may opt to lose the extra 10% dmg of the broadsword for the better reach of longsword.
Each weapon has a purpose if it is useless for your build it is useful for someone else's.
Always think WHY do i want this feature in my build/weapon and does it actually help me accomplish what i want.
Hi, do you know where I might find a scaling graph for Transient Moonlight?
I'm trying to make a build based on confusing the enemy by switching between moonveil and spinning slash uchigatana.
Thanks!
Bless you, Chrightt!
ОтветитьMy NG+ LV 570 build has only 10% more attack power then my NG LV 370 build..
In reality they are the same build,s I just archived my NG save game, continued in NG+ but at some point continued back with the NG game.. 😀
And the NG build has not even reached the mid caps in Strength and Dex.. (55) Scaling is too low for these stets with my arcane weapon..
So it also depends on the gear you use..
All this detail for min-maxing but people forget
the most maximized build is an all 99 build
Did not expect English
Ответитьthis shit makes absolutely no sense to me i just wanna play the game lol
ОтветитьHey man, someone recommended me this video for learning things that I still don't fully understand about the soulsborne games. You've earned a subscription from me, and I will be watching other vids of yours as needed. Very thorough.
ОтветитьI don't usually get my builds close to soft caps so I good.
Ответитьand I just clicked subscribe..! very well done..!
ОтветитьI wish those graphs didn't look so funky lol
ОтветитьYou earned a subscriber with this video sir
Ответить3 months late but with your vid I'm finally able to do good damage
ОтветитьI love the mechanics breakdowns you do, and explaining all of the variables like scaling that get left out.
But also I forgot to ask this, but how exactly does something like the clawmark seal work? It scales well with strength, but I noticed that stuff like lightning spear and holy blade only use the faith part of the scaling. Are there certain spells that use all of the scaling regardless of source, or do all spells have specific stat(s) that they scale off of?
