Having gained competent levels of understanding in both Latin and Italian, Portuguese is pretty easy. I am focussing mainly the on European variation, however learning some of both is a great experience. I have found that Portuguese is less phonetically challenging than Spanish, which has some strange sounds I struggle to pronounce.

Oi everyone, I decided I wanted to start learning Portugese bc of the QMSP! This is going to be really difficult, but really fun. I will share all my progress in this comment. Feel free to ask for updates! ^.^

Philippines and Timor Leste are both Catholic countries and they are similar in culture and people but there are still become friends to each other just like Indonesia

For Filipinos, Portuguese Language are become well known in Brazil because they loved Brazilian culture such as Capoeira, Carnival and Amazon tribes but it was very simple easy since Spanish and Portuguese are similarity and differences in words

Among the places have Portuguese legacy was Macau, Goa in India, Moluccas in Indonesia, Nagasaki in Japan, Malacca in Malaysia and the most favorite is Brazil especially in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro

i've been learning portuguese for three weeks now, and bc of my spanish the grammar is so easy to understand and it does make it a bit quicker to learn. it just sucks when my brain tries to translate portuguese to english to spanish instead of portuguese to spanish lmao
