I just upgraded my 3900x to the 5950x for the fact that I don't lose any gaming performance but gain a considerable boost when rendering scenes in unreal engine, since I'm working on a game. Good video. The 5950x is currently on sale where I live, 260$ off, plus I can sell my 3900x for a few hundred bucks, so I'm paying well below full price for it.

Your graphs for cinebench are visually showing well over 100% advantage for the 5k series over the equivalent 3k series but your numbers are closer to 25%

I have a 3950x i play on a Ultrawide 3440x1440 ROG Swift PG348Q i'd rather have the 12 core for 8 core price!

The first graphs are misleading should show from 0 to designated number if not they Will look as if the ryzen 3 3950x single core of 519 is half of 642 of the ryzen 5 5950x and is not!!

Can you test current version of Horizon Zero Down. I'm getting... 87 fps on Ultra with 3900x and 3080 rtx. Seems way to low...

If you have a 3900X, there is no reason to upgrade to a 5950X for just 10 extra fps (esp 1440p), just get good ram capable of 3800mhz and run 1:1 infinity fabric which will give you a boost that will run as high fps as the 5950x in games. You should be good for at least 2 years if you currently have a 3900X. AMD was ahead when it came out, and it still shines, especially if you game at 1440p. Save the money for the nextgen videocard, or use it for nice peripherals or audio.
