Skyrim Bugs - Vanilla Vs Unofficial Patch

I would of downloaded the UPSSE if I i didn't know how toxic and awful the mod author is.

This stuff just didn't let me purchase my fully upgraded Hineyside. Steward charged money infinitely and I spent almost 3 hours figuring the problem. Literally this sheet broke my game. I had to reinstall all my modes.
Guys, trust me, in games mods only works for interface or simple tweaks. If it is something big, it will always cause problems. My experience only tho.

The unofficial skyrim special edition patch fixed only the Dawnstar kahjit merchant chest (optional exploit), and the Skyforge merchant chest (optional exploit that was already tricky to do), and what did it do otherwise? Nearly break the quest to learn the second part of Unrelenting Force (a mandatory quest), broke the Thieves Guild questline, and broke the Sky Haven Temple quest. So what did I miss out on?;
At least one daedric artefact, the Skeleton Key, possibly also the Ogham Infinium quest, cuts you off from a word for Fire Breath, all of Dragonrend, Clear Skies, Summon Ethereal, Call Odahving, unable to get a dragon priest mask, softlocks the Dawnguard questline as you need the Elder Scroll to proceed in it (I gave up so I never got to check if you can still get the Elder Scroll, but if you can then that crisis is at least averted), and cuts off a quest (Kill Paarthurnax), and the amazing mod the Paarthurnax Dilemma, as you need the aforementioned quest and access to the Throat of the World peak to even do the modded quest, and who knows what else it broke, for all I know it probably broke the Dark Brotherhood questline.

This wouldn't be a problem, if it wasn't for the fact that this mod became a dependency for EVERY SINGLE CONSOLE MOD THAT WAS BEING WORKED ON AT THE TIME! This "patch" is why I hate mod dependencies, and why I despise fans trying to fix problems left by the devs most of the time. Cause if it's a 10 year old game that has bugs that the devs actively working on it have not fixed, chances are, fixing those problems cause more problems that are much more egregious than the one single problem that only is problematic if you look at one particular object in an obscure location at a certain angle.

Word of advice, modders? If you are making a mod that actively breaks one's game, do NOT make it what every mod requires. Bethesda's bullcrap didn't push me from Skyrim, Fallout, and technically Starfield (even though this happened 1-2 years ago or however long since USSEP was made; USSEP did it. When you've already beaten the game years ago without mods, there is no reason to play it without mods when the whole reason you buy a version of it is for mods.

It fixes the potion glitch (which I absolutely loved) but still no fixes on that goddamn Legate Rikke bug on the reunification of Skyrim quest line. Pisses me off

With the patch, esbern is almost always broken for me, i have to get rid of the patch so he will read alduins wall

How do you remove unofficial patch ?

It seems pretty effective on Pc, on my PS4, I’ve seen more bugs than I ever experienced before. Even before when I platinumed the game it had way less glitches. I have a few quests bugged that reloading a save doesn’t fix.

Foe new people don't do the patch, not worth it and will cause more problems for your other mods than it fixes and on top of it all, the actual size of the fixes is 14-21MBs. The rest is the MAs trash he decided we all needed.

Biggest downsides are it's kind of a cheat as it increases enchantments and drastically increases your carry weight it also breaks the necromage perk.

The only reason I have install this mod because this patch is requirement for deadly dragon, pc head tracking saving presets, ctd fixes, and there's so much feature that I never seen before

Well done Sah. I do use USSEP because it fixes some issues, such as incorrect calculating as you show here. However it also fuxes some things at the whim of the USSEPs modding team. It totally ruins the Marked for Death shout rendering it pointless. I see you just lost a subscriber...this periodically happens on my channel too...the suspect is You Tube itself. Big content creators are having hundreds of subscribers wiped off at random. Thanks You Tube!!!

Not worth the identity theft. Use WPE Pro and watch the packets coming out of Skyrim after installing Arthmoors patch and the Nexus mod programs. Not only do they both collect your ID's they watch what you post on social media and ban certain people based on your politics. The Coppa laws alone could be used to take them all down now. Just needs someone like me to do it.

Nice video, Friend Sah! But I will not use that lovely patch. When I tried it - years ago - weird things happened in different settlements - that did not happen without that patch.

Even though there are certain fixes & tweaks that are....questionable, I highly recommended downloading this as any body's first mod. It just fixes sooooo many things that Bethesda ignored to the point where I can't play Skyrim without this installed first thing :)
