Hey everyone! Just an update for the Lark 150... The High Pass Filter option has been removed from the menu to help with better sounding audio!
ОтветитьFor gimbal saramonic is better I think
ОтветитьFor gimbal blick 500 is better
Ответитьshould've used Meters instead of feet. Great video tho
Ответитьlark 150 is good because i love to listen sound while taking the video sadenl that i can''t listen to audio while recording when i use saramonic
ОтветитьNo single charging is deal breaker for me for hollyland
ОтветитьThank you for this🤝
ОтветитьCan the Saramonic use in PA system ?
ОтветитьThanxs for the review, but disconcerting to see a creator build a dirty sound ambient during a presentation - by adding disturbing, imperceptible background music - though.
ОтветитьJust got the Lark 150, real hapy so far :)
ОтветитьBuilt-in batteries define the longevity of the primary product. Will these batteries last long enough to justify buying the unit? I would hope for at least 4 years of battery longevity would be a reasonable expectation? Any comments on this?
ОтветитьMuchas gracias por la comparativa entre ambos lavaliers... eres un grande!!! saludos desde Chile
ОтветитьThe Saramonic sounds better for my taste.
ОтветитьOnly video that jump one to another quality during the review. Thanks!
ОтветитьEXELENTE TUTORIAL, UNA CONSULTA, EL SARAMONIC TIENE ENTRADA DE MICROFONO Y LINEA, EL HOLLYLAND NO, ESO QUIERE DECIR QUE EEL EL SARAMONIC SI LE DIERA OTRO USO POR EJEMPLO CONECTAR UNA CONCOLA DE AUDIO PUEDO ENVIAR SEÑAL ESTEREO HACIA CON UN SOLO EMISOR HACIA EL RECEPTOR CIERTO? O ES TOY CONFUNCIDO? ESPERO TU RESPUESTA, GRACIAS.
ОтветитьAs a filmmaker, I'm not always into the looks..I'd like a gear that would help me in my run ang gun style without worrying that I would ran out of juice while on the go..For me, this time the Saramonic wins. But I'm hoping that Hollyland will release a newer version with longer battery life. Anyway, this is a very good comparison video.
ОтветитьI loved this vido, I was looking for something comparing this 2 systems.
I really appreciate it.
But you said something weird, that the hollyland lav mic is a "super cardioid" polar pattern, and as far as I know there is no lav mic with that kind of polar pattern, it would be useless.
So I checked out at their website and I confirmed that is a omnidirectional polar pattern, also the blink 500 pro
But this small mistake apart, I really loved your video, it helped me with a lot of doubts and helped me orient my next purchase.
Thank you very much!
DOES ANYONE STILL SELL THE PICOMIC?
Ответитьwhats the name of the cords goin from the lark into the Record , is that Trs to XLR?
Ответитьnice review, what about phantom power for higher end mics?
ОтветитьAnd Saramonic Blink 500 (NO PRO)?
Same audio quality of Blink 500 PRO but 100$ in less, less smart , more practical..
what do you think about it?
Thank you for that comparison! One question: On the Saramonic units, how easy is it to change the microphone gain remotely from the receiver?
ОтветитьHi man one question! What happend if i use 2 of hollyland at the same time ( 4 mics and 2 receivers) the signal will fight and make some interference? Cause i need 3 transmiters for a broadcast show
ОтветитьIf I got 2 of these kits and a splitter cable, could I record 4 microphones at once? Would there be any significant drawbacks? (I suppose I would only be able to control the audio for each system instead of for each of the 4 mics?).
ОтветитьLark sounds better than the Blink, but the RØDE Wireless Go sounds better still. Just my personal opinion.
ОтветитьBoth of these systems are around the same price point, and they both give you 2 transmitters, a receiver and a charger. This is the perfect head-to-head video and exactly what I was looking for.. Thank you for another great review!
ОтветитьHow did you hook it up to your Zoom H6???
ОтветитьYour video is the only one I can find that directly compares these two systems. I’m surprised that no one else has done this because these systems have less in common with the oft-cited Rode Wireless Go than they do with each other. Kudos for that.
Personally, I think they are both great systems. The Hollyland is probably a better buy for general creators who want a solid, reliable, and compact system, but considering I’ve done everything from weddings to livestreams to studio and film work, the Saramonic system is a slightly more versatile kit. It sacrifices a bit on aesthetics, build quality, and latency, but these are acceptable in essentially every scenario. The latency is low enough to be a non issue and can be corrected for if you know what you are doing. Additionally, the battery life and individual charging capability of each unit is far better for documentary work if you happen to have a single person mic’d for several hours.
Both mics are good depending on usage. Saramonic has better options than holy land lark 150. Saramonic can run for 8 hrs, can be charged independently etc. Built quality lark 150 wins. At the end saramonic wins.
Ответитьin the Hollyland Lark 150 , can I separe the transmitter audio in the stereo file? For example, the TX-A send Audio to right channel only and the TX-B send the audio to left channel only of the stereo audio recorded.
thanks
You seem to leaning towards Hollyland Lark 150 as a better wireless mic but watching your review on both mics, I think Saramonic Blink 500 Pro wins it overall... with the range test, sound quality test and also the battery life test. The only drawback I think is the 12ms delay in Saramonic mic. Also, Saramonic Blink 500 Pro is more versatile since you can charge it separately via the micro usb input jack.
Thanks for this review since I'm considering this two as my next mic to buy. More power!
Hey i really love that you made this comparison video and how you made it. But i think you should express more of Your thoughts on the comparison as i believe most of us audience who look into these kind of comparison might not be a pro in detecting the differences, thus i think You should review the differences based on your thought. Nevertheless great content and video 💪🏼👍🏼
Ответитьwhich I should buy?
Ответитьi think the saramonic is more than 12 ms, i got 40 ms on mine, almost 2 frames delay on a 25fps timeline!
ОтветитьCan you tell Hollyland to make the transmitter battery last longer and add a usb-c port to the receiver? Then it would be the perfect system!
ОтветитьSince you're the one doing the actual testing, it would be nice if you summarize your conclusions, instead of saying "what do you think, post it in the comments."
Ответитьvery nice review! by the way which cable did u use to connect to the zoom h6? tnx
ОтветитьThanks for the great tutorials in 2020 specialy the gimbal ones. Merry Chrismas and a Happy New Year.
ОтветитьNicely done Josh 👌 Hollyland for the win!
ОтветитьTo the non musical or highly trained ear, both mics sound the same. Love de Lark 150´s warm tone, noise reduction and overall looks. Peace!
ОтветитьIs just me or saramonic has some hissing in noise test?
ОтветитьGood overview of both systems. Just wondering why you also didn't look at the Tentacle Sync E as well?
ОтветитьWhat about Synco?
ОтветитьThat’s a nice vehicle in that garage, I’ll need to test drive it one day.
ОтветитьThe Hollyland Lark 150 seem to be the better sounding mics
ОтветитьWhich one has the louder noise floor coz i don't have headphones
ОтветитьHi Guys 😍💋 💝💖
ОтветитьGreat comparison! I was a little surprised that I didn't hear a ton of difference in quality between these 2 systems. I should have my Lark 150 within the next few days and look forward to checking it out myself. Thanks for the video!
