Mines won't do the new simple volume, what can i do?

before my problem was that when pressing the bios button it blinked 3 times and did nothing, I made all the changes perfectly and now it does not blink 3 times or light any led, nothing happens when I press the bios button, could someone help me?

Hi I did everything you said from another PC. The reason why I didn't in another PC because my PC won't post and is stuck on cpu ez debug light. By doing this I hope is just need a bios update. Anyway is still not updating the bios I waited for an hour please help at this point it might just be that the mobo is brick that is why it won't update the BIOS?

Just gonna leave this here for anyone who was searching like me:

IF you have a Gigabyte A320M-S2H board and you’re looking to update to F55, (Or any new version past F40) you NEED to update to version F32 beforehand as there was a major update to allow for better BIOS updates for all future versions. Hope this helps and this video is a big help with teaching you about partitioning :)

I'm using Win10 and it fought me at every step. I had to type HELP once or twice to get updated commands. Finally I got to the CLEAN command and it refused to do it for some reason. I just stopped right there.

I have been trying to Flash my BIOS with a USB.
Somehow everything you say seems right and works, BUT when it reads the USB and it starts the rgb on the motherboard, the red blinking light next to flash button STOPS!
any idea what that might be? it logic to think it cant be the USB because it reads it.

I hope on a reaction soon, I am hooked on my screen until you do haha

I can’t change my file system to FAT32. My only options are NTFS and exFAT. Do you have any idea of how to fix this?

Bless videos like these. turns out I was using an old 8gb usb that was previously formatted as a boot drive. Windows only saw it as a 256mb even after formatting..... I just grabbed a generic 1gb stick that had never been formatted for another use, gave it Fat 32 treatment and it worked. Updated in 2 minutes.

Unfortunately not working for me on my brand new msi b650i edge board. Initially just installed 7800x3d as normal and tried to boot... No post nothing. I figured it must need the latest BIOS. Tried flashing with the rig fully installed, no. Decided I might as well pull the entire motherboard out, remove everything, and just connect 24 + 8 pin. I've tried four different USB sticks, two 4gb, one 8gb, one 16gb, using this exact method, mbr fat32 msi.rom..... nothing works.

Thanks man. Been saving for a while and got my new pc parts all together, just waiting on a cpu. Been putting off using the bios flashback as I am not the luckiest person around and I am kind of nervous lol. Just watched your guide and went through the steps to prepare my usb stick and feel more confident of it working now. One thing I have done is use a usb with an indicator light on it. Being able to see the light flashing when the data is being read might be handy when installing the bios.😀

hello I hope you're doing great! I have the same motherboard and I have followed all of your steps and after my 3rd attempt I still get a solid red. What are suggestions on what I should do? Does mean the actual drive is not compatible at all and need to get a new one? Because the one I have is brand new. Hopefully you can help I need this pc running for school

instead of FAT32 in my pc its showing exFat is it ok?

For everyone who seems to find no solution: It can be simple as that: DONT TURN ON YOUR PC BEFORE PUSHING THE FLASH BUTTON. Else the LED only will flash once and nothing will happen. Just turn the power supply to I (on) and then just press the flash button with properly flash drive. Maybe I can help someone out who tries it in the wrong way!

Wanted to say thank you so much for this! The only USB drive I had kicking around was a small 2GB one that had clearly been through the trenches over the years. My new MSI board refused to recognize it properly with basic formatting. Your instructions fixed it, first go. Bios now updating away nicely! New to your channel and now a definite subscriber :)

man!!! you are the best, I can't thank you enough, MBR worked instantly, been pulling my hair off with a z690 + 13700k for more than 3 hours formating USB as GPT...you got yourself a new subscriber, GOD bless you - for those who hate the command line, I did the formating on MacOS disk utility selecting MS-DOS FAT as the format and Scheme is Master Boot Record
