I was taught and trained by a sprinter that ran in the olympic trials to run from start to finish. I lost in the 200 2 times. Once my junior and once my senior year, each time at the state meet. As junior, this 85% technique cost me a state title in the 200. I got 2nd (lost by half a step). Runner up again senior season but this time the state champ was actually faster. Found out later by the sprinter training me that He was ranked in the world so...
I may not know much, but I do know this though, the race is called the 200 meter sprint not the "go 100% coming off the curve for the last 100m of 200m" sprint
My daughter get smoke running this we need HELP her coaches suck but she love the team and I don’t wanna take her into another team
ОтветитьYou cant run all out in the 100? Lmao
ОтветитьI am understanding in hindi
ОтветитьThese advices make me worse by 0,6 s lol .. thank you
ОтветитьI prefer lane 7
ОтветитьI was watching Matt Boling's indoor 200m races to visualize myself for my open indoor 200m.......I was like, "Oh ok, I could probably go 23s, its small".........I get to the meet, "Dang, the track is bigger than expected....."
ОтветитьI personally like lane 4 so it’s not too tight and I can see people In front of me so I can chase
ОтветитьThis is how I run the 200. I train like a maniac to run it all out, 2nd: If your start is bad then you should definetly run all out.
ОтветитьCan someone please tell me if I should run 200 or 100m because I'm fast but run out of breath fast.
ОтветитьThe 200m is SO unfair...to the people who don’t put enough time in to learn how to use every lane.
ОтветитьI think with the lanes I think it’s more mental then it is physical cause In lane 1 you see and look and think to yourself that your running more even though it’s just the same amount as everyone else it’s just more psychological then anything
ОтветитьIma also athletic men suscess my time 23.32success in national meat
ОтветитьGood
ОтветитьThis is a horrible race plan, watch a different video if you want to run faster than a 30 😂
ОтветитьYou are running the race all out in the 100m. Your just not running “top speed” the whole time. Because you need to gather momentum before you can come up and run your top speed. But your going 100% and using 100% energy the entire time
Ответитьlanes do MATTER lane 1 is unfair its tight and it will make your running sharper and less smoother than like lane 5 or 8
ОтветитьAll these comments I’m seeing about “this guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about” from experience I run a 23 second 200m as a sophomore PR and yeah you can’t run this race all out, like he said you can’t even run the 100m all out and you need to run it as a 400m but try not to over simply it as he is in the video. To me the best way to run it is you go hard outa the blocks for the first 30-50 meters then you go into a fast stride phase then once you get into the 100m you start to reaccelerate and hold form and posture the whole time
ОтветитьIn 26 second
ОтветитьThis is the secret: Run the whole thing at max! If you have the right training and a good coach you will be able to.
ОтветитьI run all out the whole race abd i win basically every race im in
ОтветитьOk if y’all wanna run like a 27 in the 200 and a 100 in a 13 follow this🙄🙄
ОтветитьMan I'm really overthinking sports day this year
ОтветитьImagine not knowing what you're talking about at all and making people who are new to track run slower
Ответитьthis the stupidest thing i’ve ever heard 😭
ОтветитьGreat, now can you do one about 300m
ОтветитьI hate lane 1,2,7,8,9
Ответить800 kills me more than 400
Ответить*run fast the whole time it’s a 200m
ОтветитьI go all out
ОтветитьEhhh don’t really agree with anything from the vid... 100m is an all out race. And Ik not everyone is the same when it comes to the 200m, I see a lot of mixed comments on how they run the 200 but I believe if u can train to sprint as far as u can in a 200 before u die out, go for that... train ur body to be able to sprint that far, I’ve never had success trying to float 80-90% on the first 100. Now like I said, everyone is different but a majority of high school and college track teams are gonna have tons of meets throughout a season, train yourself to run hard the whole 200 so by the time sections, conference, even state rolls around, u know ur body can withstand an entire sprint for 200m
ОтветитьWhat he means is sprint the first 50m all out and Maintain the speed your at and stop trying to go faster
ОтветитьYou’re supposed to go all out from the gun. Don’t believe me? I have a personal coach who was in the 2008 Olympics and came 4th against Usain Bolt in the 200m. He says you have to be trying the whole time. You end up losing the energy later anyway if you save it.
Ответитьim 14 and today i runned 200m and i runned for 23,98 sorry for my bad english
ОтветитьLine 1 is the best bc u can just make up the stagger
ОтветитьNot interast
ОтветитьI hate lane 1
ОтветитьI prefer the inner lanes, i like to know where i am in the race
ОтветитьWhat...ur wrong my mum tells me to go fast the whole way turns out I come 2nd in my state sooo yea
ОтветитьYes, lanes 1-8 all is 200m, and yes 1 innerr lane is the toughest, more sharper curve is harder to accelerate, it's not a fair rules
ОтветитьPractice well and contrate the track
ОтветитьYou are a shit talker
ОтветитьHow tf can u prefer lane 8. In lane 1 you have a sharper turn where you can lean in and basically slingshot yourself foward. I run on avg 24.10 - 24.30 and i ran a 25.45 in the outer most lane. Theres a clear advantage of the inner lane
ОтветитьI run like a 23.64, 200m and I’m just like one second from breaking a school record. A second difference is a lot.
Ответить👌👌😎😎
ОтветитьPlease you can say this in Tamil
ОтветитьI like lane 1, because passing people is fun.
Ответитьmy heart started beating faster while I imagined running a 200m wtf
ОтветитьHow to win Track events: If someone Passes You, Use a airhorn and scare them, If someone is right behind you drop kick them. Ez
