He made a tando buddies car irl lol drift on easy mode
ОтветитьDk no necesita el freno de mano
ОтветитьWould be quite cool to see these legends sitting in or even driving some of modern Drift Masters cars, for example Rintanen's Gr86, Heinonen's Nascar S13, Wiecek's S15 etc... Yes, they have same kind of cars in Japan but driving style and car settings are so different so that would be very interesting to see what they think of that. This season Naoki Nakamura participated also nad it was so cool to see in latest round that he adapted some left foot braking stuff also, but i must confess, i like his original style more😄
ОтветитьTsuchiya is a legend!!
ОтветитьDk and Naoki is what we need next!
Ответитьi love this video so much :')
ОтветитьNOB and DK looks the same when I first saw them over 20 years ago at D1 GP. Passion never dies!
ОтветитьOLD DRIFTING?? Respect your elders…
ОтветитьThey should do a race between old and new car.
Old style doesn't use hand brake as much making it more fluid as it use the car's mass and row to do the drift, while new style is less organic.
DK: no handbrake please.
ОтветитьIf it doesn't have a turbo V8 with atleast 1,000hp it's not modern drift missile lol
Ответитьawesm
Ответить日産 ヤッホー
ОтветитьYou can tell by the 3rd lap he was starting to get a feel for it
Ответитьfuck the rich
ОтветитьModern drift SUCKS hard it focuses too much on speed and not really on the thing drift is all about ANGLE AND TECHNIQUE. Trash.
Ответитьwait till he sees 8hp with virtual clutch😂
Ответитьas long my direction is right...yeah not many people like me in here compare to in Japan but in Japan we have skin tone issue, but others who lives in here have different attitude and color skins.... I'm rare....ofcuz if I'm being white I'm race, that why I'm maintaing my skins tone...black Malay drifter try to find shalter under my umbrella...common case, I'm highway 6:00PM blast racer ....same, if I spend my on highway my skin gonna burn like them too... highway light budget issues 😏😏😏
ОтветитьWow.. Dk is drifting without use of breaks.. while the other uses breaks
ОтветитьIf these guys didn’t drift , they could go sooooo much faster and efficient and smooth around the turns instead of being extremely wasteful and inefficient
ОтветитьTaniguchi-San's speed skating vs figure skating analogy was a perfect description of how drifting has evolved.
ОтветитьWow hes not using ebreak.
ОтветитьThis video is pure gold! Between DK admiring Taniguchi's skills and car and him literally clapping like a little kid after the ride, and the fact that you can tell how humble and privileged Taniguchi feel's every time Tsuchiya gives him a compliment about absolutely anything. So wholesome I nearly cried at least 3 times in this video. Just pure joy. Thank you so much for the smiles!
Ответитьtaniguchi is a drift god in his own right
ОтветитьSo heartfelt seeing 2 legends in the same car, respecting and admiring each other. Almost teared.
Ответитьso many people learn to drift... but too little actually learn how to race...
ОтветитьSo this the real DK huh meet me in the Parking tunnel
ОтветитьDK basically spent his first lap in 1st gear the whole time, he stepped a few turns out a little too hard and then you see him make the conscious decision, this car can do it in 2nd, and with a bit less torque to the wheels he starts to rip it much smoother and he even goes back into 1st for the big turn at the end of the lap so he can power throughout it more. It’s amazing to watch a driver so good that he can step into a purpose made car, feel it out, and then instantly feel the confidence to start rowing and sending it. His last lap when he’s fully using the car would take an average track experienced driver a full day to feel out the characteristics of a new car, while expressly pushing it and not losing control even once. DK is a legend but Taniguchi is an actual champion driver, these guys aren’t just good, they are good as it gets.
ОтветитьAs an American, im baffled by how good the Japanese body shops are. The paint, the welds, all the custom work is such high quality craftsmanship.
ОтветитьUtung koe gelem ngalah aku sing mbok gebuki tapi ora barat nek Barat mati entek koe... Di perangkap.takdir koyok biden dll kui yo takdir... Nek rak wes di singkirke.
Ответитьdrift king youore getting tooo old.. their technique is better...
ОтветитьThe handbrake is literally in his way.. 😵
Ответить"the shoes are different"... I love that phrase.
I'll use it soon ;)
I think there is a link between arcade games of today and "new" drifting." While the former method of drifting relied principally on the driver's skill... now, it's more related to the car's drifting abilities.
Wow, he's driving without using the handbrake
ОтветитьI just cant imagine the Honor and Honesty Taniguchi san had to drive and perform with Mr. Tsuchiya onboard. Taniguchi is such a proficient driver and kind individual.
ОтветитьFunny as hell DK was shifting with his feet while he was the passenger 😂😂
ОтветитьDK Tsuchiya does real drifting… no brake handle! Awesome DK! 👍👏
ОтветитьFunny thing about watching the in-cockpit views of high-bhp drifting is that aside from the bumps and jolts to the camera it really does look identical in terms of physics to the in-cockpit view of a really good simulator like Assetto Corsa. The difference is only in the smoothness of the camera - everything else; the initiation points, the angles, the distance drifted using handbrake extensions, the little scandi wiggle that's all that's needed to initiate a drift, the angle of the car when you power-over....my mind is very used to seeing this perspective in AC and the drivers really do the same things, at the same times, that I do(obviously they're much better than me, but you get my point). Which gives me a lot more hope that if I ever start drifting IRL, the skills I have in AC will make the transition a lot easier than if I'd never drifted at all.
In some ways IRL drifting will probably be easier than on my rig, because of the amount of extra information you have in the real world: g forces, FFB from all around you like the seats, the pedals, the feels of the car slipping, etc. It'll be harder overall, I assume, because the real world is unpredictable and all the mechanical peculiarities of whatever car I'm drifting will be unique to that car, and I won't just be able to switch off engine-stalls and damage and rev-matching in the menu...but the more of these videos I watch the more optimistic I am.
Taniguchi's analogy of comparing the two styles to Speed Skating vs Figure Skating is spot on.
ОтветитьTsuchiya's style is by far superior with respect to actual drifting. Tsuchiya is using the weight of the car and the power of the engine rather than just constantly ripping the e-brake. In fact, most of the time when he goes for the e-brake it was a mistake because he was reaching for the shift knob.
Modern drift is cool for looks, kinda.... But observing the difference in how the car responds to both of them, Tsuchiya is still better.
Taniguchi is a legend. Orido and Tsuchiya too
ОтветитьOld drifting ftw ❤
