I made most friends in a map called Sky Camp, it wasn't anything fancy, just some islands with a camp, a few tools and a floating raft. But most of the friends I played with frequently, I met there. And it was honestly really chill. People would join around the campfire and just chat (or chase eachother with shovels or axes) but nowadays it feels harder to do that kind of stuff. People already seem to know eachother as opposed to being a bunch of strangers in the same world, talking to about whatever they could come up with.

I can't understand why i get so mad watching people interact but at least you made this pretty entertaining and with some hilarious fun twists 😂

I feel like you really have to be on this daily for hours on end to make friends. I also feel like too much of a normie amongst the users here. I’m fascinated by the tech, and the worlds, but damn I’m not nerdy enough to fit in here.

The trick is to not make friends on Vrc because there is no one worth being friends with.

I came back to VRC in Nov 2022 [had 15 hours in 2017 on desktop] and so far have 468 friends.

Although I can only say 30-35 of them I'd actually want to join on lol most I'm sure are great people but due to drunken amnesia I don't remember a lot of the people I met lmao

To make friends in VR I go to the Great Pug, where all the crazy happens. I try to be myself and also join the crazy. Or create the crazy with funny avatars, and people eventually join in if I match their energy😂. Most of the time I try to make people laugh because that’s how I enjoy to play the game.
