Well it's not graded. CGC isn't a card grading company it's coins and comics. You'll have to crack it open and have it regraded by PSA to even have any top end value. It being CGC it effectively only worth ungraded pricing which is under $10k depending on condition.

i guess 85k is a fair price for a 6.5. Considering that 9.5-10 are worth hundreds of thousands now. Post Malone bought one for $800,000, but iirc his was special. However. at the end of it all. It is still a Black Lotus.

I used to deal/Sell Magic The gathering cards back in the mid 90s. Actually, I was the largest resellers of this CCG in San Diego. I used to buy large sets and then sell the cards off individually. I honestly made close to $140k a year for a few years doing it. What a great time that was. I probably saw the Black Lotus card (and the power 9... magic players will know what that is) come thru my possession at least a dozen times or more. I bought and sold the alpha and beta black lotus probably 7 or 8 times. Average I would get for it back then was around $250... Man had I only known what they would eventually go for i would have held on to all of them. Haha great memories.

This video is hilarious! The guy who brought the card is the card artist’s former agent and MTG staple. He knows so much about the Black Lotus, and all things Rush, he is more of an expert than Matt, the head of CGC. The fact that Chumlee is trying to teach Jeff Ferriera, the number one fan and former agent of Rush, the artist that designed the card, is just hilarious. I didn’t know how fake pawn stars was until I saw this one. Just amazing. LOL! Chum was never going to buy this card.

Imagine that recently Wizards of the coast released a magic expansion based on Lord of the Rings lore and.. They included randomly in ONE booster pack a ONE OF card of the ring with special illustration and a "1/1" mention.

That card has been found this summer by an anonymous dude in the US and is estimated to be worth a stunning 1-2M$ 🤯

Its also a tricky item..had he bought for 70...im not sure how much higher a lower grade like that will fetch. Up to 100k..for a card with that grading...ehh you better hope that one buyer shows up to the auction who has a super want for that card and not care about price.

You can tell how well a card game is doing by looking into how many tournaments there are for the game and the payout for winning.

a 6.5 grading on the alpha one is worth the 85k, post malone bought alpha lotus i believe 9 grading and he spend 800.000 on it so i don''t think it's unreasonable for this man to ask 85....well i do think it is unreasonable because it's a piece of inky cardboard xD but far as prices go you could have easily resold it for more to some rich guy who is a fan.
