Best theme of TV show history! I love how it reflects the nature of the show itself too. It is both powerful, strong, and projects an image of sophistication. Then it is juxtaposed by loud and brash notes that reflect the chaotic elements of the Roy family. The disfunction, the broken people backstabbing eachother, the pain, the loneliness experienced by an absentee father, the fierce competition. The music denotes elements of what the Roy family wants to be projected, but also reflects the true savagery and chaos that lurks beneath their carefully constructed image

I actually didn't like the first few episodes of the show but there was something abouts the theme song that made me stay. Idk it just sounds so mysterious and expensive idk how else to describe it.

I have to say, family guy's was better

I haven't watch a show this good since the Sopranos

I love how it merges a classical orchestra with contemporary 808s and trap bass. Perfectly suits the theme of the show in which a CEO is looking for someone to to succeed him.

You know exactly why I am here. Just heard the news!

[Spoilers] but I love how the first few seconds essentially says how things play out:









Starts with four children together in the house, showing how they are all set to inherit Logan’s legacy.
Then Conor is separated from the group showing his disconnect from Waystar but he’s still in the shot as he is still connected to Logan.
Then just Shiv alone as at the end the brothers are all completely disconnected from Logan’s legacy and Waystar with Shiv being left alone at Waystar and the only one with a connection to it.

Just started this series. Intro is top notch. I always let it play out!

The kids riding the elephant and barely hanging on not only is a metaphor for the Roy kids barely surviving the beastly industry their father Logan put them on - but that footage is from Jungleland USA. That was Southern California’s most popular theme park before Disneyland, Knott’s and other corporate theme parks sprang up and put Jungleland out of business. Part of the fictional Waystar-Royco business’ origins are in its chain of “Brightstar Adventure Park” theme parks.

Hbo always made best intros

Ending's a big meh, 4th season overall sort of meh, but generally, great show.
And yeah, I get the ending. Just wasn't done very well.

Best intro of all time hands down

The show is amazing, but this theme is an absolute masterpiece all of its own: it's the musical eqiuvalent of a financial graph of continuous ups and downs, that continuously switches between an overall rise or fall. And it sounds so beautiful, it does the exact same thing to your emotions whilst listening. The perfect theme tune for the show.👏
