I saw them at Rocklahoma 2023, front row. They were still one of the most badass powerhouses in Rock & Roll. They came out, kicked our asses, and left us wanting more! Made a big impression on this 17 year old! That's Rock & Roll!!!

Absolutely criminally underrated band! And yet there's others out there not as good, not as much energy, should have been done back around when this DVD was made, and using gnikcuF tracks...

The best band ever on the Hammerjacks stage!!! Back when Hammerjacks was the best club in the country.

Sadly I only saw them once, but it was back in 1993, second album. Front row left center stage. Great show!!!!!! Wish I could have seen them more then once, but at least I got to see them!! And I didn’t know Steve was so funny😂 And yes, KIX is extremely underrated!! Thanks for the post!❤

Mountain View! I heard that's where they started out, as it was shouted out during their early performances around Maryland. Seen them at least 15 times, and they were banging guitars as 'The Generators' or 'The Shoez' when I first saw them in the late 70's, and they haven't stopped high-energy rocking since! Steve is probably the funniest frontman I've ever heard, and this guitar duo has awesome talent; as they play with synchronicity, then one takes the lead, and it goes back-n-forth with great alternating leads from both players! You can't help but dance or headbang when you're jamming live to KIX! I highly recommend seeing them if have a chance!

I only got to see Kix once. When Midnight Dynamite came out, I was fortunate enough to have seen them at L'amour in Brooklyn NY, and it was a flawless show.

Best Band I've ever seen live. Steve blows it up.

This might be one of the best live concerts of all time on "tape" out there :) I heard "Cold Blood" when i was visiting California and totally fell in love with this song esp. with the way they interact with the audience. Epic!

Used to listen to Kix in 83 when me and my friend used to sneak into the Country Club pool and try to meet rich girls lol. I cut grass all week in the summer so I had some girl money.

I still have my 35mm pictures of these guys when they were the Shooze in 79 and they were playing the 11th frame lounge in Martinsburg not far from Hagerstown Md. They were covering Zepplin and AC/DC that place was always packed and they had to stop letting people come in because of the fire codes. The best live band ever do doubt. I know that Steve remembers my slutty sister Cathy. LOL Maybe he's talking about my sister in Don't tell me no. LOL I remember this one song that they did called Daddy's Little Girl but they never recorded it.

I grew up in Sweden in the 90s with KIX through a handed-down cassette from my brother.

I really appreciate a variety of different music and genre, but hair metal will always just hit different for me.

I got to see them play at the House of Blues in LA in 2010, and it just blew me away how insanely good Steve's voice sounded and how tight they played. This band is incredibly underrated. I wish more people got to hear them, especially when you have bands such as GnR still playing the biggest festivals around the world and just sounding absolutely horrendous.

I just recently discovered this band through Tidal and am absolutely in love. Nothing gives me more joy than a band who sounds just as good live as their studio recordings. It’s insane they weren’t more famous.

Too bad this wasn't made when Purnell was in the band. He had a HUGE stage presence. There is now a huge void on stage when they play live because of his absence.

Very underrated....Steve still has it along with the entire band.

Steve was 56 here and still kicking ass. Such an underrated band. Much better than many of the bands of that era. A true frontman who puts the likes of Vince Neil to shame.

Mann Steve took care of that...voice,sounded like the record,very good!!!🥰
