August 11th I got ransomware YYTW & the malicious hacker downed 2 of my channels by uploading trash until they were taken down. Someone like me who logs in with google then jumps over to YT to watch videos has No clue what the YTs account hijack form information Is & being locked out of my accounts so essentially I lost 2 accounts!

ОтветитьDoes Feedback HUB use psr, or does it use new code?
ОтветитьYou can put the characters you make into the unicode spots for keyboard characters. Check charmap for the numbers, select those spots in the private font editor. I'd strongly recommend only linking it to certain fonts or every font will end up the same.
ОтветитьAs a JRR Tolkien fan, I've had charmap saved to every desktop I've had since the late 90s. Yeah, I have some of the ascii alt codes memorized, but nothing beats charmap for the more esoteric European fonts when writing Sindarin or Quenyan.
ОтветитьI remember Phone Dialer from Win 95. I wouldn't be surprised if it's older than that.
Dxdiag was a big troubleshooting tool back in the day for gamers. I can't remember the last time I even looked at that one, though.
There is another less known program - Cipher.
It's a Command Prompt application that safely erases free space on any drive (so deleted files could not be restored).
This command would safely erase free space on C drive (3 passes: zeros, ones and random data):
cipher /w:c:
The Phone Dialer wasn't as useless as you might think. Many modems back in the day were voice modems and had audio in and out jacks on them. So you could attach a headset to the modem and make a call. It's probably left there for backwards compatibility with some obscure application as is often the case with Windows.
