The Last of Us Part I vs The Last of Us Part II - Physics and Details Comparison

Part 1 is a remake. People don't tend to be passionate about a project they already did once. You don't draw the same painting twice. It's no fun the second time, it's a chore.

I mean they could've made a remake of the 1st one also on the ps4 cause tlou2 looks incredible at the same level like remake on ps5 why they didn't do it on the ps4 they're basically same engines??

The only thing that the designer forgot to change in The Last of Us Remake is that the player can't dodge enemy's attack, unlike the 2nd game. Which is the only part I dislike.

i love the last of us but honestly i don't think the part 1 remaster was really all that impressive in terms of added details etc

Love them both.

But Last of Us 2 was designed to be way way bigger in scale.

So when both games are revised to have the exact same gameplay, the second game stands out even more as better.

These games are ina league of their own when it comes to gameplay and graphics, i love this franchise, i wish Part 2 story was better but i have no complaints on the gameplay

Each was the "top" of the platform. Tlou (1) on PS3, Tlou 2 on PS4.

I still play both, when I want to "feal" a game. RDR and RDR 2 were cool games with the peak of the platform too...

I've seen the remake played all the way through twice and yeah TLOU2 looks better it really does they could have easily released the remake in the same engine as 2 on the 4 and it would have looked phenomenal, I've again seen the remake played through in full, and both my friend and I are both going 🤷 what's the big difference what justified the 60 dollar asking price not that impressed tbh

Part 1 graphics was more realistic and part 2 seems to be cartoonist. in my POV

The last of Us part 1 is from PC and PS5, that's why is so much better
The last of Us part 2 will be so much better in PC !

Ellie and Horse is the same as Leon S Kennedy and any vehicle he drove off=dead/crashed(except his own Jeep).

I honestly enjoyed both games

They both, look identical graphically. It's just that the environment looks better in Part 2, especially those ones filled with vegetations.

part 2 is more pleasant to look at. PS5 is better from a technical perspective.

TLOU for PC is one of the most poorly optimized games. Haven't had crap like this in a long time.

Can you explain me why the heck I've got suddenly a frame limit in the game between 70-80 FPS with my 5800X3D and RTX 4090 PC?? I've testet everything also with Nvidia profile inspector and game settings. There's no limit!!! I had always like over 90 or 100 FPS and now in any resolution and only in this game I've got only 70-80 FPS!!!

TLOU2 has more of a photo realism design approach and TLOU1 is more stylized, less 'photo' real, even with it's higher fidelity.

I still think the last of us part 2 is the better looking game and i have part 1 on ps5

Part II is better than Part I, in every way, including story.

I hate the arrow physics, but they probably went with that slow curved trajectory for balancing reasons.

sure Joel loves Ellie but at what cost? killing in video games is desensitized I get it. but thinking from a realistic point of view, Joel is a monster for killing all those people. He didn't deserve to die that way but still, part II is trying to remind us that death and revenge only brings more revenge and sadness
