I've been feeling this way for almost two years pertaining to B42, but waiting for Fallout 2 to drop when I was a Teenager was way worse.

As long as I can bring a dog with me to hunt zeds with me, bark to alarm me of incoming hordes and patrol the area to tell you how many zombies the dog saw, sounds complex but it really wouldn't be with an established animal AI system, as well as a dog training system because simply being able to have a dog do all that for you from the start would be unrealistic, as long as I have that in Build 42, I can wait until Build 43/44 to have NPCs

I'd imagine there'd be videos popping up fast of people creating dog armies and filling their bases up with dogs and puppies so they aren't lonely in the apocalypse, I hope the Indie Stone adds that in B42 and keeps it a secret as a surprise for everyone

I think the update will probably come in 2025. Coding a game is not an easy thing, but they want to publish it without errors. Arriving early usually causes errors.

I just wanna play it idc if its buggy as long as they dont cause deaths, doesn't have to be perfect, just let us atleast play it and update as we go xD me and my friends are so excited but we're taking a break waiting till it comes out
