Download Emails from Gmail to Google Drive Automatically

The Save Emails and Attachments addon for Google will help you automatically download email messages and file attachments from Gmail to your Google Drive. The email messages are saved as PDF, EML or HTML files. The email attachments are saved in Drive in their original file formats.

The emails can be archived in Google Drive or Shared Drives. The file attachments can be renamed before saving them to Google Drive.

Fantastic potential to save lots of manual work. I receive a daily report with the same columns and headers. Every day the data changes a bit, would there be a way to append, or add sheets to an existing document so a new separate document wouldn't have to be created every day?

Is this process automatic? I mean if I receive a new message will it automatically save them as PDF or I have to run the app every time?
