great vid man, been messing around with logic (very inconsistently) for over 3 years and i felt like i could never fully get a grip on workflow or arrangement and this helped so much. i feel like my journey as a producer truly started today now that i have a finished project 🔥

I go to Berklee, and have always used protools even tho I wasn't very good at it lol. here in all beginner producer classes, they use nothing but Logic, so I have to relearn the setup of music production quite a bit. Thanks for the help :).

Only a year and much has changed with Logic Pro. I'm on 10.7.8. No "preferencee." Just "Settings" No "Apple Loops" just "Sound Packs" But, I'm getting it. I was a long time ProTools guy but now that I'm retired and hanging with old friends, I find that most of them went wtih the cheaper Logic. Can' blame em Great program so far. Thanks for the help. New sub

Hey Tony - what a wonderfully done tutorial. Much appreciation for making this super concise and to the point with everything!

I'm coming from Pro Tools and I think I jumped into Logic Pro rather well without ever using it before. But I'm mixing and recording these unbelievable songs for my best friend - who has invited me into his band as a lead guitarist.

We have no drummer, so I've been programming the drums in the meantime as well as doing lead guitar duties (Logic does have a great MIDI editor, btw - especially with editing velocity levels).

Anyways, I know that when I'm done watching this video (only 25 minutes in), I'll be able to knock that music out of the park. We really have something amazing here with his music, and so this needs to be done right. And it will.

I usually make docs and edit and really wanted to learn how to use Logic Pro if only for the sound design in my videos, as I am not very musically talented. Now that I finished this I actually think I understand music more and how to use it better in my videos. Thanks so much!

Cheers Tony, great vid! I have been using Mixcraft and Reaper over the years and having had a Mac for the last few years I thought Id venture into Logic (I think Mac is life changing RE music production). I have been trialing Logic for the last few weeks and it doesnt disappoint, I think it covers many bases. This program will cover my needs for loops, virtual instruments and micing up the odd amp from time to time and its GUI is great. Anyway, thank you for such a great video and highlighting many great attributes within Logic. Cheers,
