Everywhere looks the same in Wolf 3D. That is what makes the game hard to complete even on the easiest diffuculty.

"Blake Stone" did come close to Doom; sadly, that is true in many ways. Released soon before Doom, "Blake Stone" was all but forgotten...

The difinitive version of "Faceball 2000" was on the Super NES, a Game Gear version also likewise exists, but the SNES version IS Faceball...

One of the best and most memorable PC games I played. I still remember Hitler and Goerring stepping into the fray as robot zombies with mechanical spider legs and Gatling guns for arms.

From memory, I was charmed and had some solid cheats to fall back on. No way I would’ve ground out that result with standard rations and settings.
