The dance everybody wanted to witness

This was the most satisfying conclusion to a character arc in any superhero movie I've seen. Buce Wayne's character ending in The Dark Knight Rises was a close second. However, Steve's ending in End Game was damn near perfect.

idc what any of those so called directors say, Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame were pinnacle of cinematic art.
No other cinematic experience can close close to these along with Titanic.
Emotion, rage, war, sympathy/hatred towards the arc villlian, 10+ years of build-up. MCU was peak cinema at this point.

I idk if most ppl noticed this but the music played when steve and peggy were dancing in endgame was also played before in winter soldier when nick fury went to steve house

If the mcu ended here it would’ve been absolutely perfect

I swear this is the most perfect fairy tale ending. It's so perfect you can literally look past everything that came after Endgame. Like it's so good that nothing else after even matters.

It’s been such a long road for him getting here, but if ever there was a hero who deserved the girl, it was Captain America. Not because he was the perfect soldier, but a good man.

You know. Every hero we knew had one final moment in this movie, except for Captain Marvel. Shows how much the writers and possibly the Russo Brothers might not have liked her.

The Best thing about this scene is that in the original Script Steve steps on Peggy Foot accidently and they both laugh because of course Steve is very Clumsy. He probably steps on Nat's Foot when they probably practice this dance all the time during the 11 years they knew each other.

I got through the whole movie, but this, this got the tears started. Probably helps I love this kind of music

If I was Sam I'd be so mixed with emotions I'd be so happy to see my friend happy and content with the life he lived but so sad that the friend I knew didn't stay to spend more nights enjoying each others company.

For all the criticisms you see about average superhero stories be about male "power" fantasies, ending a superhero saga with this scene shows a level romance and wholesomeness that I don't see in practically no "feminist" movie nowdays. You fail to realize that it has never been about power, but about love, and if the journey of a hero may start due to ego, it is love what ends up defining him, the thing that gives his power a purpose beyond just proving how "stunning and brave" he is.

The only exception is possibly when the girls are lesbians, but that would end up super toned down to not miss on that tasty Chinese and Saudi market.

Something strange maybe this isn't steve its someone else ...

While I get this ending and probably the best ending they had, but something about me just wish he came right back after returning the infinity stones. His friends were waiting on him and so was the life he had present day. He could have done so much more in the present and he would still be able to find a love if that's what he really wanted.

The perfect ending to a thrilling saga.

Im pretty sure that steve timeline is going to be really happy when knowing that peggy lived a life with himself from another time and that he whould get to expirience the same

Its weird to think back 5 years because when endgame began with a 5 year time jump to the year 2023 seemed so far away when in reality it came in a blink of eye. I know the characters are not real its just weird to think how quick we actually caught up with the endgame timeline.

What's beautiful to me is the fact that the front door is left open. To me it signifies steve rogers is in a place where he is peaceful and safe❤
