Is there any need to take any other insurance policy for CGHS card holders ? Or CGHS is enough????

For very senior CGHS pensioners - ages 89 and 83 - is it necessary to take the memo from the CGHS pensioners to take a memo from the CGHS office for consultation with authorized CGHS hospitals? If a memo is not taken, whether the consultation charges are reimbursable.

I am a Central Govt. retiree officer. Did not opt for CGHS facility because there was no cghs facility in the city of my residence. Can I opt for this facility now? If so, what to do ?

Very good news mam. I am a retired central govt employee and shifted from Delhi to home town Rishikesh adjoining to AIIMS. Earlier the cashless facility was not available in AIIMS. Can I avail this facility without refering from CGHS dispensary as it lyes in dehradun which is 35kms away from Rishikesh. Again thanks for giving such valuable information.

Senior citizens of cghs beneficiary are not being treated properly at par with others owing to cash less treatments in hospitals.
One time approval should be given by the cghs dispensary to avoid run pillar to post by the senior citizens cghs members.

Mam pl family pensioners ke liye bhi thoda detail me bataiye. CGHS dispensary ka experince itna kharab raha hai ki kai baar useless lagta hai ye card. Kai doctors ki medicine ya to work nahi karti, refer karne ke lite kaho to refer nahi karte. Bade hospital me direct jao to dispensary se refer karakar lao. Iske. Lite jao to doctor kahte hain ki iske liye ministry se approval lekar aao.
In all aisa lagta hai ki family pensioner ke liye kisi kaam ki nahi.
Pl thoda guide kijiye. Family pensioner ko kis tarah benefit ho sakta hai.

The most of the dispensaries are not patient friendly running in a very bad condition.
There are frequently server/ power failures.
Attitude of some of the doctors/CMOs is nof helpful.
Once the patient is referred to a specialist why permissions are required for each & every tests prescribed by the specialist.
How patient will shuttle from specialist to Dispensary frequently?

Mam, Mera papa CGHS card holder hain , unko heart attack aaya tha meine private hospital mein hi treatment le liya ab reimbursement Karwana hain .
