What I missed the most in FCPX where the Sequences, I love to have difffertent tracks for different parts of the video, I never really got into the FCPX workflow compleatly

I recently switched from 10 years of using Premiere Pro to Davinci Resolve 18 after one day of using it. It's waaaaaaaay better than Premiere Pro (sadly) and it's only going to get better. Adobe doesn't even know it's dead in the water yet.

It does not matter what editing software your using, why do creators do these videos?
Find what works for you and get on with it.
Matti what your totally missing is the massive cost difference between them, not everyone can afford to keep switching. And the fact FCPX is not on windows, so your point is mute to that community, Do videos on the main 3 platforms ( Divinci, FCPX and premier ) for editing to inform people and leave it at that. And just get on with creating.

Okay, I'm FCPX user sine it began (2012 if i'm not mistaken)

Compare with Premier:
- no subscription! It's a huge advantage as for me
- stability! It is the most stable editing soft ever! It runs even MacBook air!
- libraries! So useful!
- Interface, more friendly
- timeline - when u got used to it - it is the best for u! no exception
- working with motion - for me better than Pr+AE

Did you ever try using Apple Motion? It's got a lot of power! And libraries don't have to be large, if you don't copy files to your library.

Premier Pro or final cut… ?? They both suck. If you’re a real editor and wanna learn a real editing program then you edit with da Vinci resolve 17. It is the most powerful most amazing editing program you can buy. Yes it has a steep learning curve… But if you’re not stupid you can learn it.
