In addition to the hot lap shown here in Sprint Mode on Corsa tyres, we also drove the Ioniq 5 N two laps in a row in Endurance Mode. How much power the Ioniq 5 N has in Endurance Mode and how quickly it completed both Nordschleife laps can now be read in the ten-page Supertest in sport auto issue 2/2024.

Isn't the fake gears silliness slowing him down? I thought it limited torque at lower fake RPMs

Ist da jetzt immer noch dieser schlechte Fake-Verbrenner-Sound programmiert? Vollkommener Müll. Ansonsten finde ich den Ioniq 5 ein cooles Auto.

This must EAT tires like a fat person with potato chips . Getting such a heavy car to go even a decent time is very environmentally un sound as far as ruining tires . Many tires can kast 60k , these things will chew them in hours if you actually try and hustle a pig fat car around . it does Ok because of the massive power of EVs and I guess the regen which means the brakes arent shot in a couple laps either although at these speeds your using the actual brakes which are also being tortured . Batteries dont like getting or letting go of energy quickly for life span so I reckon driving ypour EV this way consitently would shorten your battery life a bunch .

Its a cool car for an EV and I applaud the effort . For a civillian who just wants something cool that stuffs you in the seat , something that will, if forced take turns , can have slip angle induced for fun and all that Im sure its pretty fun . The average person will just enjoythe boy racer aspect and the SHOVE afforded by EV . You can tell the car is working very hard to manage its weight and with computers it has help and for regular person who cant really drive with the speeds they go and level of attack on public roads its fine Im sure to make a driver feel decently competent and hustle along with the computers covering for them , which is fine . But I really want to know how veraciously it eats tires . I mean its gonna need very sticky compound that sacrifices itself to be left on taramc to keep it planted and changing direction which it SOO does not want to do being so heavy .

Im sure its a HOOT in snow with something like a blizzak tire where it wont eat the tires anywhere NEAR a street summer / track tire . I would also Imagine you would BLOW through a full charge in NO time in cold weather playing rally driver and constant sliding / slip angle / tire spinning . I burned 1 and 3/4 tanks of gas in my Subaru STi in 160 Miles on odometer playing rally driver on a snow day / 1 and 3/4th TANKS OF GAS IN 160 Miles !!!! Little 2.5 t ice engines love cold weather though when being driven full out for hours though , run better with their shitty little intercolers and tyrbo creating heat on a snow day then a hot day , but my understanding is EVs expend a lot of energy just managing temp wether its hot or cold and do not like when its very cold , but Im not that up on that matter . Either way I feel confident that a snow day playing with this with blizzaks or even more aggro snow tire would just destroy the mileage you get from the battery . Something tells me I could unload the battery in like 50-miles of constant drifting in / on snow and ice . Maybe Im wrong but I would think you might get 1/3 whatever the range supposedly is but not shocked if less . Either way , if you must have an EV this seems by far the most fun one Ive seen yet . Just keep in mind when they say you dont have as much money to spend on maintenance , brake pads and oil , if you want to really drive it , have money for tires . If I am somehow wrong somebody can correct me but I feel like it HAS TO JUST DESTROY TIRES . Many fat pig Ice cars do as well too . Something like a Shelby GT 500 will cost a months rent to track drive for 2 days in tires and this is porkier . I guess the tires arent as big and wide like a Shelby so cheaper but not by that much .

I hear they are gonna take 500lbs of fat out of this model for a race version for street . 500lbs will go a long way . I feel like cars like this should have quick release everything . Like seats should go in and out quickly , way to remove heavy speakers and other stuff when you want to have fun . Actually any car supposedly fun . Its a shame they dont make stripper versions anymore , now they remove your seats and charge you more for light weight version . You used to be able to buy a car with no frills , crank windows etc that was a couple few hundred pounds lighter then the halo car and save money , order it with garbage steel wheels knowing you would get ultra light wheels and bigger tires , no fake aero or anything useless , EVs being so fat , need this terribly , but the weight is the batteries so maybe less so, IDK .If they ever make a crazy breakthrough with batteries and can 1/2 the battery weight , then you will have stupid fun and fast cars .

If it goes this way, perhaps some EV can do top 20 in Nordschleife one day. If the track still exists at that time.

제일싼 모델조차 쳐다도보기 힘든게
현실인데 이런 슈퍼카급 성능을 8천 밑으로

앞으로 나올 6N과 새로운 플랫폼에서
개선된 배터리로 새로나올 다른 N까지
