Thanks for this video. It's a nice overview of what's possible with Scaler, which is new to me. Is that GarageBand you're using?
Ответитьwish i could figure out how to have scaler control a synth in fruityloops.
ОтветитьWonderful! Reverse piano chords and NI vocals bring the magic!
ОтветитьThis is what sets plugins apart when there is so much effort made in tutorials and how to use it, I have bought it not used it yet, I will go through these amazing tutorials so I can get the best of out it. Purest made say you should learn the chords, but for me its nothing to do with that. Using tools like this removes muscle memory as we always subconsciously have our favourite progression. It allows you to experiment and get inspiration and come up with harmonies and progressions you would never come up with any other way!
ОтветитьI have scaler and try to make reggaeton type music. Can you tell me which chordsets I could use on that and performances?
ОтветитьWhy is the desktop so different from the iPad version? How dumb.
ОтветитьI cannot believe what I just watched! I've desired this software for years now and finally purchased it last year and am just now starting to learn how to use it. That composition was unreal! I also had no idea Scaler had such luscious tones. Utterly amazed. So inspiring, emotionally captivating, and spiritually enthralling! I'm speechless and very grateful. Thank you PIB and @davidecarbone for this video. It is an instructional masterpiece, demonstration of musical theoretical ingenuity, and music production. Absolutely amazing! Blessings. 🙏.
ОтветитьSCALER UI was designed by some color blind idiot who has no idea how to build usable UI. The interface sucks. I bought it and I do not use it, because 90% of the screen is unreadable. Total TRASH !
Ответитьdo you have specs for computer you are using, thanks
ОтветитьArp is so over used. It is a great pity that has happened because sometimes it really fits but everybody seems to over use it since integration into beat music and all. It is a great pity everybody leans on it so much. Great tute example though, scaler has so much potential. makes me want to start a channel called "The Anti-Arp".
ОтветитьJust amazing, good Sir! I need to get busy :)
ОтветитьSounds amazing
ОтветитьYou composed the whole track by binding the chords and drawing in the piano roll.
After the whole musical idea is final, should we use those scalers as inputs of favourite instruments or should we capture the midis and drop there?
If we capture the midis and remove all the scaler instances is there any disadvantages?
On the whole, what is the best way to finalize?
Great Video again Davide, but is there a way to "EXPORT" the MIDI in BULK from all Scalers? I purchased the new Scaler 2 Class, but I didn't see an option for "BULK" Export....
Ответитьhope u got an award for that. lovely.
ОтветитьGreat song! That sounds like a funeral in C major. 🥵
ОтветитьHi, any tutorials on making relaxing meditation music? Complete beginner here. Thank you.
ОтветитьNOT GOOD ENOUGH - CHAT GPT SOS
ОтветитьGoing back through the videos because I more or less gave up on scaler after buying: the arpeggios always seem slightly off sync with my DAW and the transitions between chords are always messy. I'm sure it's just that I'm missing something so I'm going 'back to school' to see what it is. I'd love to love this as much as others. Right now, it's only helping me make sense of unfamiliar chords (which to be fair is a lot) but there's some much more to it than that, I realise
ОтветитьWhat are the "Mountain SFX"?
ОтветитьHello is there suppose to be a noice like a riser that sounds off every so often?
Thanks!
i do not have that minimize movement option visible, what can i do ?
ОтветитьSo thrilled to have this wonderful software in my musical toolbox. Mind blowing music power!
ОтветитьThat Felt Piano voice is muddy as heck, hard to make out the separate notes
ОтветитьNIgh on three in the morning and you've made me desperate to fire up Scaler and try this out 😂.
Great video, thank you Davide. 👍
Thanks Davide, as always, your teaching is perfect.
ОтветитьScaler 2 is a plugin of the 21st century, If you're stuck on the same chord progressions, Scaler 2 is your faithful friend.
Bought this recently for $59, cheers.
Thank you!! Trying to see how I can fit scaler into hard techno and this video helps a lot. Explains how to maximize this plug.
ОтветитьInvaluable tutorial for me - helping me to understand some of Scaler's bewildering layout. Now I've seen it used in action like this I can join the dots and it all seems quite intuitive and natural. Thanks for sharing !
ОтветитьDo not regret buying scaler at all, its been a huge help and you tend to pickup things as you go in terms of theory, it's sort of learning out of play instead of making it boring. Would really appreciate more videos/song making in the style of funk or jazz, like Jacob Collier style or Louis Cole to really put Scaler to the test, or even you making a pop song with a few chord variations or something. I personally struggle with going from a normal triad to a different chord maybe with more tonality to it, so seeing more variations or even just more videos similar to this would help a bunch for perspective. Just some suggestions. Thanks so much
ОтветитьScaler is awesome, I love using the phrases and different patterns by using the record midi option then dragging the midi to my tracks, instant patterns that I can't really come up with or play, I'm still a beginner piano player. Am guitarist and drummer first. Thanks for this new video!
ОтветитьAs a guitarist with NO keyboard skills I have struggled for the longest time trying to use Scaler itself and driving other VIs to create compositions. I usually end up just getting basic chord structures going and then running into "A Wall". This video Davide, has opened my brain up to all the other possibilities/uses of Scaler and the power of the wonderful tool that it is. THANK YOU so very much. Can't wait for Version 3! :)
ОтветитьAll this time Hanz Zimmers just been dragging chords between instances of Scaler.
ОтветитьOr... you can actually learn music theory and internalize the rules that SCALER seems to woodenly emulate. Just think: you can compose Music, rather than generate a pseudo-music.
ОтветитьScaler 2 is a revolutionary plugin, I studied music theory and did piano in the past, but Scaler helps in the writing process where I can explore things I didn't knew that could work in my music, it helps with writers block, this is a fabulous plugin, I really love the way you can explore with it and come up with unique chord progressions, hoping to see what they'll add to this amazing plugin in the future, thanks Davide 👍🏻
Ответитьwow amazing video!!
ОтветитьGot it sorted David.
ОтветитьHi David. The minimize movement button is not showing in Scaler 2.5.0 in suggest mode. Any ideas. Thanks
ОтветитьTi to follow in Toby's foot steps if ya know what I an.
ОтветитьFantastic. Man I love Scaler 2. Probably my favorite virtual instrument purchase to date. Love these songs from scratch vids.
ОтветитьThank you, Sir, 😇
Ответитьthem too
Ответить🥲 so wonderfull. The secret is that you can make us belive that it's so easy. But it s not... Respect my Lord.
Ответитьbro thanks so much. dis video is tiless 3 years ltr n still great
ОтветитьDefinitely added a couple workflow tips from this video with my use with iPad version. Not much more to ask for within this plugin to say the least! And a great compressor plugin you pulled up.
