Hey Evw. Been a fan since at least 2015. I’ve loved your videos but have often found myself losing interest in gd. With this update I’ve been back in it and having a blast and decided to rewatch this video as I love Johnathan GD as a creator. I usually skip your outros (no offense). But this one really struck me. Something about this level and your talk at the end made me emotional. I think it has to do with that one ship that takes so many classic level styles, styles that were made and levels created far before any of us could have thought of this as something so large. Thank you evw, for your years of service.

Honestly, Dark Travel is my favorite, I prefer the simplicity and sight-readable nature of it. Dark Odyssey is awesome and really shows how far JonathanGD has come in a span of just a few years, but Dark Travel just has that feeling where it will never be replaced. To me, overly hard levels aren’t fun at all, (*cough* Abyss Of Darkness) so I tackle easy to hard demons. Extremes suck for me and my PC. Granted, Dark Odyssey has a lot of overwhelming decoration and stupid amounts of glow compared to Dark Travel, that’s why I prefer the OG. On 60HZ with FPS bypass, Dark Travel is great. With a spoiled rich kid’s computer, Dark Odyssey is great. My point is, Dark Travel is better for people who aren’t experienced enough to play the 2ND masterpiece, also, again, both these levels are great, but nothing compares to the 3RD masterpiece which is: BuTiTi II.

Dude this level is absolutely soul crushing and when I beat it I was so tired from all the grinding, I died to the dual over 90 times. Congrats on beating it.
