Crazy to see fast food workers making more than my master degree salary job
ОтветитьBribery? In Denmark, it is not only legal to bribe a politician, you can also deduct it from your taxes and do not have to publish that you have done it.
All broadcasters, journalists, judges and lawyers are subject to the government. They say what to come forward and what to attack, and of course what to stay away from, no questions asked. There is still a hole called the Supreme Court and the Royal House, but otherwise total corruption at all levels.
Do you really think you can reach the so called least corrupt country in the world to the sock holders in total corruption?
I’m warming up to you man your doing good on the channel keep it up 👍
Ответитьis it bad i already forgot what’s matpats voice sounds like?
ОтветитьWhat if they use Ai to create matpats voice.
ОтветитьGreat video 👍
ОтветитьI watch the theory videos with no volume so I can imagine Mat Pat's voice in the captions
ОтветитьGreat video congrats on taking over the channels!
Ответитьyes! suits... subscribed
ОтветитьI work in an industrial bakery so I found the discussion on ‘fair wage’ very interesting 😊
ОтветитьThat was one heck of a back paddle from that "invisible hand of the free market" bs mate
ОтветитьIs there a way just to get permission from MattPatt to use his voice in AI for the videos?
Ответитьmatpat but with a different voice and i like it
ОтветитьI mean if you drank one of those lemonades a day it wouldn't be that bad, people just need to know that it's not full proof
Ответить😂BRAH BREAD😂
ОтветитьWorked at Mcdonalds for bout 2 years and i can tell you, surprisingly, there are plenty of people who order "just bun"
ОтветитьYeah forcing restaurants (fast food or otherwise) by law and "Raising the minimum wage is NEVER a good idea. All it does is cause prices to go up accordingly. Businesses are ALWAYS going to protect their profit margin. If they made $10 million last year they want to make at least $11 million this year. If you make them pay their employees more, cutting into the profit margin, the cost is passed on to the consumer. This is why a Big Mac (alone) will cost you $8-10 in California, where it will only cost about $5 in PA (where i live) our Minimum wage is still only about $8 an hour (tho most usually get about $10-12 an hour because of Wage pressure as mentioned in the video.)
And keep in mind that most fast food joints are owned by franchisees, not necessarily by "McDonald's" as a whole. The company might have thousands of stores across the nation, but some Franchisees only have 1 or 2 locations (though I admit even here in PA "Alamo" our local McDonald's franchise has something like 15)
Even so it is the FRANCHISEEs in CA that will be hardest hit by this.
Its best to just let Wage pressure do its thing.
(And btw I happen to live in an area where McD's IS the only fast food franchise for MILES around. We have one Mom & Pop Hot Dog Shop, and (too many) pizza Joints. But they only chain around is McDonald's... So yeah we don't even have ONE Panera Bread. (the nearest being 15 miles away... The nearest BK and Wendy's are also about 15 miles)
The California law seems like the exemption might also apply to Little Caesar's ("Crazy Bread") and Domino's ("Cheese Bread") and that Subway might be able to put their bread on the menu (even if nobody bought any) and claim the exemption.
ОтветитьWho doesnt
ОтветитьThis is because of the bread glove epesode, isn't it? >XD
ОтветитьRaising minimum wage is NEVER a great thing.
It is part of socialism and the elimination of the middle class.
It raises prices and increases the rate of inflation.
Also - can we talk about their website and kiosks being down for the past several days? I can't log into my panera account. And they took down their customer service phone line.
ОтветитьAlright I can get used to Santi as Mat Pat's replacement on food theory
ОтветитьPaneras already been checked on your hit list, now its time you go after salt bae for his insane marketing scheme of his "golden" tomahawk steaks😭🙏
Ответитьsighs and adds Panera to the 'only when desperate' list
ОтветитьThe exception also seems like it would carve out space for Boudin restaurants since their whole thing is their sourdough
ОтветитьEvery time I click on a video I hope he's back. When I don't hear his voice, it's dislike, and leave
ОтветитьI miss MatPat
ОтветитьBrental
ОтветитьI just like a good bread bowl....which they do not have. I'd be okay buying just the boule.
ОтветитьSo many bad chemicals in their food and it taste awful
ОтветитьWould this mean little Caesars is a bakery they make their dough in store and have bread sticks. The only thing is it is the same recipe as the pizza crust
ОтветитьGoodbye matpat
ОтветитьIronic how this comes out after I just had panera 2 days ago
ОтветитьPlease, do a HACPOA theory…it’s interesting
Ответитьbernie sanders this theory is p cool but yoeu’r jokes are too long 🪅
ОтветитьMat, you sounds weird, do you have a cold?
ОтветитьJust want to say I'm here to support Santi ❤
ОтветитьI haven't worked for Panera but I used to work for Kneaders as a baker which has almost the exact model of Panera. The difference was we actually made our bread from scratch. In theory this sounds good but we ran into a consistency issue. Depending on who was working the quality of bread could vary drastically. Additionally, each shop having it's own levain made it a headache if one shop ruined theirs. I don't know if they ever did but at one point they were considering changing it to a central bakery. Along with consistency improvements, only the most experienced bakers would be allowed to mix and form the dough. It also would help with scalability. Two shops each separately making pumpkin bread would have to both spend to pay someone to wait 45 minutes.. or you could bake both in one location and pay half the man hours.
ОтветитьAnyone else can’t focus on the new videos now? No hate at all but I can’t find myself just listening to the videos because it feels off 😭
Ответитьrestaurants will do and pay anything except their employees a livable wage
ОтветитьDoes anyone recognize the outro song? If so, could you give the name?
ОтветитьHey can you do a hacapoa theory? Hacapoa is a ham and cheese “secret” society and I would love to see it here ❤️
ОтветитьIt's just not the same without Matpat.
Ответить“But that’s… not the end of the story!”
ОтветитьAlternative title: Jedi trying to cause inflation.
ОтветитьWho is still sad 😢😢😢😢😢😢 because Mat is not here anymore 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
ОтветитьI think most fast food restaurants cook their food offsite, and ship them to restaurants which reheat them using steam. Panera actually cooks your food onsite.
ОтветитьThat "passable at best" comment couldn't be any more accurate.
ОтветитьOoooo really spicy topic for food theory. Keep the pressure coming!
Ответить
